Stolen property

Would the animals be considered stolen property if there were charges pressed by the OP? I do not understand why that action would not be the first thing done? That makes all the ads trying to sell the snakes further violations. The only reason I can think of to NOT try that to recover the animals would be if the OP feared law enforcement intervention. The whole mess sounds suspicious, and if not for Mr. Kruger's actions I would have been suspicious of the OP. Give the blatant disregard for the law I would think that avoiding them both sounds like a good idea.

I am still curious how anybody can legally sell something that is not actually their property yet?
If Kruger has not paid for these boas or made a trade yet then surely the BUYERS of the boas from Kruger are technically in possession of stolen property?
Thats not a statement its a question that hopefully some of our more legal headed minds can answer but that is what it looks like to me right now.

I thought so. I wonder if the people that bought them know they aren't even technically his to sell. He has other pics on his page of your snakes too and he refers to them as his snakes. Wrong in so many ways. He's been given many options but refuses to take any of them. I know Alex made mistakes in the beginning too but at this point it's all on kruger. The last option he gave Alex was for him to pay boarding and return shipping but how can he do that if he's already sold at least 3 of the snakes? I don't understand how he thought selling them was in any way shape or form an ok thing to do. I guess that just proves again that he is a crook with no morals!

He has ads posted for some of your snakes too. They are closed so we can't post on them. I've posted the link to this thread on his profile 3 times now, he's deleted it twice so far. If he thinks if he ignores this situation it will just go away he's mistaken. If I were you Alex I'd start posting the link to this thread in every group he's in, both reptile and gun groups on facebook. Maybe turning up the heat will get kruger to do the right thing. Even if it doesn't you'll have at least warned others about him so he can't steal from anyone else.

This is a complex problem. Kruger is owed for the rats and so on that were fed during some of this time. You will see in article2 section2 of Sales in the UCC that indeed stuff can be sold under certain circumstances.

There are two sides to every story and in my opinion Alex from his point of view, is owed, and could choose to sue within the statute of limitations. He will have problems trying to do that, however: the expense of the suit, the fact that he initially breached, the whole problem with the gun delivery, the costs of boarding during the part of time he was responsible for delay, trying to prove a higher value for his snakes when he proposed in writing a trade for the relatively inexpensive pellet gun.
It may be judged commercially reasonable for Kruger to have sold the critters rather than racking up further boarding costs.

It is easy to feel the injustice here, with Kruger in possession of the guns and the snakes. I am merely pointing out that commercial law is what it is, and a study will show that there are a variety of options when there is disagreement and/or breach, that is why article2 section2 was written.

Again, because I am mentioning commercial law and its relevance to this transaction, to not mistakenly attribute the mention as any kind of defense of Kruger.

seriously dude this is getting ridiculous. A pellet gun for all your livestock? If this was me, I would print every page of this thread, make copies and head on down to the nearest precinct, file a stolen property report and give them a copy. Then send a copy to what ever precinct Kruger's home address falls under and follow up with phoning in a stolen property complaint. Then email a few lawyers that specialize in these cases, get their fax number and fax over a copy of this entire thread.
