Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Years ago there was a high profile auction house that had a BOI thread about them. Whenever an inconvenient fact or question came up, they were accomplished in ignoring it, and simply burying it with further conversation. They became very skilled at this evasion.

But after a while, people saw it for what it was.
 
I am afraid Kruger is laughable in his attempts to intimidate
I too have been leaving links to this BOI on his website and on his post about his successfull Mesa show.
He then sent me a fb msg stating that "I need to stop harassing him and his attorney will be dealing with me", give me a break please!
So I started to format a reply, went to send to find he did not even have the guts to converse as he had already blocked me
So of course I left numerous links until he figured out to block me on his fb page as well

I still have zero confidence he will abide by his agreed upon deal although he has come out of it by far the best.

And it is even more humorous that he truly believes he is fully in the right and that this BOI thread will not affect him at all,,,yeah right

If Kruger is not forthcoming with his end of the deal you may want to consider filing a small claims court case against him in his local court.
No it will not get you any money as its just not practical as you would have to appear (ny to az) and there is no guarantee even if you did that you would win or ever get any money.
However if I am not mistaken just the action of filing the case then goes on public record and can then be searched by any member of the public.
If I remember correctly the fee to file is pretty small, around $15 the last time I did it about 3 years ago.
Like I said its not going to get you any money( unless Kruger poops his pants when the letter arrives!) but just a bit of satisfaction...which is why I did it when scammed out of just $600!

Small claims court cases provide a plaintiff an opportunity to initiate lawsuits seeking smaller sums (usually less than $5,000). Once filed, a small claims case becomes public record, accessible by anyone who requests the information. To find small claims court cases, you can speak with the clerk of the court or conduct your own research. Alternatively, many communities offer online databases to search cases.

Just a thought, If Alex files a small claims case and then does not show for court, wouldn't the public record show that Kruger had won by default(no show) ? I see your perspective, but I don't think Alex could possibly win anything or be awarded anything without showing up. I also do not have any knowledge of Arizona law, but seems like Kruger could claim cost incurred in showing up for something Alex does not show for. We both know Kruger loves fees and all.

Not sure on AZ but I did it in NY and nobody showed up...lol
Now you most certainly could be right if Kruger DID show up, could maybe make it even worse for Alex

His excuse was that he wants Alex to withdraw some complaint he filed with a AZ agency that regulates businesses before he will ship, but Kruger didn't bring that up until well after the "OK" response you quoted from two weeks ago.

IMO that just shows yet again that Mel Kruger of Kruger's Kritters is a scammer and a thief, and his word is worth less than what I clean out of my snake tubs.
 
He's definitely living up to the name of this thread, mel kruger, crook! If I were Alex I would file complaints with as many agencies as would listen.
 
I read the entire 60+ pages of this. Alex got screwed BUT should have ultimately realized what/who he was dealing with and sent label asap and take a $200 (I dont know shipping cost) hit chalked up to a 'lesson' if you will after which he could alert everyone about this guy and do all he could do get the word out. Instead things escalated to where its unfortunately going to be a several $k lesson and then he can still do what he can do spread the info on this guy.

The part that irritates me is the level of greed Mel shows in not wanting to compensate the OP at least to SOME degree for the animals that proof has been shown he's actively making a profit off of. I would just expect it would make someone feel wrong/slimey to be in his situation but it is as if he has just decided he is entitled to OPs property :(

Having read a lot of BOIs and going back to that first point, sometimes it's better to do 'damage control' early on in the process (ie sending the shipping label) because these tings tend to only get worse and increasingly unlikely to any positive outcome (kinda like missing persons being not found after X amount of hours/days)
 
I agree with you Ryan that he should have just sent the label !! BUT
after reading all of it and seeing how MEL CROOK always finds a new way to screw him over.
early on they suggested he kept a big 500$ female that he wanted and just sent the rest and he still found a way to not do this. this would have more than compensated for shipping and his bogus/ridicules feeding expenses.
I fail to see this crook doing anything right even when he comes out on top, he still tries to get more and comes up with something new to add.. this is a frustrating as a Nigerian pet scam :mad:
 
BB - What web site did you use to file the complaint?

Also, what name did you list on the complaint? I'm not finding a business listing in AZ registered with the Secretary of State for either Kruger's Kritters or that thief Mel Kruger.
