    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I purchased a Crested Gecko from Melissa Hansen of Buskirk NY and although she was willing to negotiate on price, emailed me back promptly, and overall handled the transaction nicely, I received an adult female crested gecko with MBD. The animal has a severly contorted spine, ribs that protrude outward from the side of the animal, and a wavy kinked tail. Also the animal suffers from FTS(floppy tail syndrome) as the two may be related. I would recommend seeing several pictures of animals prior to purchase.

I didn't bring up the animals condition when speaking with her. I told her I would take care of the animal and that it had found it's new home. I do a lot of reptile rehabilitation so I have the ability to care for this gecko. I didn't want to get into an arguement with someone 1500 miles away about a hundred dollar gecko. At first I was lead to believe that this 'pet' was just no longer wanted by her daughter but now that I see more posts from the same person selling more Rhacs, I want people to be careful. I was 'had' by this person and would not do business with them again.
