    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

It occurred to me that only members of this group should be able to access the BOI, and that it should not be open to visitors. Perhaps that would induce our anonymous friends to sign up and join the rest of us. Just sayin'.
 
I do not think that is a good idea. Some people look here before making a purchase & if they only want to search a name, making it so they have to have an account would discourage them & they may make a bad deal as a result.

If someone wishes to comment, they will have to make am account.
 
Every now and again I will shut down thread content viewing in order to try to shake loose some of the Chinese search engine bots when I see the numbers too high in the visitor count. And a secondary reason for that is to jolt some of the visitors that are real people into registering, or just logging in, on the site too.

But I don't hold it in that state for very long as I don't believe it would work very well as a long term strategy.
 
I think that if logging in to an account is required to read the BOI, then Google may not be able to see it either. So, people using Google to research sellers won't be directed to reviews in the BOI and traffic will be sent elsewhere.
 
I would have to agree, I found fuana through google results. If it haven’t been for forums coming up in google I may not have found it..
