    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I just don't understand how he had time to post about his brother's death on the frog site and worry about feeding his frogs while away, but he could not shoot Toni or myself an email. Oversold the dragons and spent the money? There is no excuse for that! Toni says when she talked to him, he said he wants me to call him because he doesn't have my number available to him right now, which must mean he doesn't have access to his email. I'm too PO'd to talk to him right now. He has screwed me over and I don't trust him to be truthful to me. Talk is cheap, I want my money. How ironic that he had such harsh words for the guy he thought was trying to screw him, now he has neither our money or our beardeds.
 
I sent him a postal money order that I mailed on the 10th. He said he got it in an email he sent on the 18th, which was his last correspondance with me. I have the receipt but I'm sure it's been cashed, just like Toni's check.
 
So this guy sells dragons that he admits he doesn't have. Takes the money for them, and spends it. And there are those that wish to show him compassion for being a thief? And the one guy who gets ripped off wants to give him time to "make it right"?

WTF are you guys thinking? :shrug01: He stole their money, plain and simple. He shouldn't be receiving anything but a visit from the law for his crimes. The OP should contact his bank like he said he would, and bring in copies of any proof he has, and have charges pressed for internet fraud, and theft.

This crap is why so many try these stunts. Compassion...More like Enabling.

Was all of this information available when those who wanted to perhaps show some compassion said so? No. And I still don't believe we have the whole story.....I think there's more to it.

Again, this does not excuse this persons actions in any way, shape, or form. As I said, my comments were made "in general", to those who would damn a person for putting their family before their "business".

I think the buyers in this case have every right to attempt to recover their money in any way available to them.
 
Except for the second person he burned speaking up in the guys very own ad, a day before this thread was even created, I might tend to agree with you more on that.

This is all that was posted on the day before this thread was started....does that tell us that the guy didn't have the dragons? Or that he didn't have a genuine family emergency, that prevented him from contacting both parties? :shrug01:

Again....I'm NOT defending the guy at this point....I just find it sad how some people seem to think that business is more important than family.
 
On 10-19 his so called emergency came up, and he had to leave Sunday afternoon as I read it. Was that Sunday the very day he posted? Or Sunday as in tomorrow? If it was last Sunday, then how come he was here on the 22nd? Had time for that, but a quick phone call? If it's tomorrow Sunday, how come he hasn't contacted his customers?

Nothing I have read warrants anything but suspicion from me. Maybe I have a twisted view of things though.

Exactly.

Rick. You know me. And you know that im all for going after the scum. But i like to have both sides, and actual evidence of a transaction, The op has not had this problem on here before * that im aware of, if there is ill find in my searchings later on him* so why shouldnt he also be given the benefit of a doubt, along with the OP's claims?

Please post copies of the email, and Scans of the money order reciept. They will only help you to prove that this guy is really ignoring you/not sending dragons as he was supposed to.

Have you sent more emails to ask him where your animals were? Please, post all correspondance.


We can put the pressure on this guy to do the right thing, if what you guys say is true. If you cant post that information, then i have to question the autenticity of these claims.
 
all the posts are thier or most of them . i think we are being understanding of the family emergency . if thier is one . i am giving the guy the benifet of the doubt . i spoke with him over the phone and he TOLD ME he over sold his dragons and spent the money on burying his brother . (its not my responsibility to bury the guys brother ) but i am being understanding . and hoping he sticks by his word to pay me back . he said he don't have the money right now but will scrape it up to pay me ,and i am giving him time to do so. ya know all the statements about being understanding about the family is fine i hope you guys that made them send this guy 120 to help . come on please he is in a bind he just buried his brother , i am sure you guys realy want to help . say you are giving to a good cause . if you don't want to do it . then look at the reality . i did it , thats where my money went to . i hope you read all the posts . i am giving chris time to pay me back .without any police action.i dont think anyof you that is saying give him a break he had a family emergency would give up a hundred and twenty dollars .how many of you just walk past those guys begging on the street for money for a good cause ? i betya nome of you put 120 in those bukets remember christmas is coming up for those of you that think i need to give more of a break then i already am. open your pockets and give!!!!!!!!! chris said his girl freind has been on not him . well his girlfreind needs to change his ad or email us that this is what happened . Toni, I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to say here....but just so you know, none of the posts I made were aimed toward you. It was simply aimed toward those that automatically labeled the guy a scammer without knowing the entire story.

You are being very kind to wait and give the guy a chance, and I will honestly say that I do not know if I would be trusting enough to do so in your shoes. Hopefully, the guy realizes he screwed up, and will make right. A close family relative dying unexpectedly, IF that is truly the case, can leave us not thinking so clearly, and not necessarily doing things in a "logical" manner. Or....he may just realize that his "scam" has been busted. At this point....I don't believe ANYONE can say they know for sure.

If you do not receive you money as promised, and soon, then proceed with whatever means you feel necessary to try to collect the money you are owed.

Have both of the posters who paid for but did not receive dragons heard from him, or just one?
 
The first batch of dragons were pretty nice considering their price($35 each), which I why I opted to get more. They were not as big as he told me, he said 10-12" and I measured them at between 8-10.5". He also said they were five months old which is kind of small for that age. The second ones he was suppose to send but didn't, were suppose to be out of a younger clutch. I was basically planning on keeping the nicest ones and selling off the lesser ones a couple months down the road. The babies do look like the parents he had posted, I don't doubt they're pedigree. Initially, it was a friend of mine who wanted some of the dragons after seeing the ones I got from Chris, so I asked Chris if he had more. My friend backed out so I decided to get them anyway for myself. They are doing well, only the 8 inch runt doesn't eat a whole lot and I don't think it will grow past twelve inches. JMO, time will tell.
 
chris told me that he had two gravid females .and when he has babys to sell he will give me a deal . i am not looking for a deal . i am not looking for anymore then what i payed for .He said he over sold the dragons . that means he sold more then what he had. i do understand a death in a family or some other devistation . my mom died in my arms and my sister died in a car accident so i totaly understand, but on the other hand he has been on line and he said it was his girlfriend HER signature was on my check . and if that is her on line she has the responsability to contact me
 
To all of you that doubt the credibility of my/our accusations; You wanted email correspondance and we gave it to you. Now you want proof/copy of the check and money order. Below is a photo of the mo reciept. Tell me now what more proof you need to get the picture that we are for real. Chris needs to come on here and prove with documentation that he shipped me the second round of dragons, which he can't. If you have read the entire thread and are half way intelligent, let logic lead you and put the pieces together, man! I have better things to do with my time than make false accusations against someone.

noone is DOUBTING you, so much as... Hey. Weve seen similar claims against good people before, and proof of said transactions helps sway ones opinion. Youve provided that, and without question, i feel your claim is legit. :)( when i asked for email proof again, I had originally missed the email correspondance earlier, and posted saying that i did miss them a few posts before the both of you made these recent ones)
Dont get so defensive. if you hang around the BOI long enough, you start to see some of the same routines. So just try to understand that, while it might be a pain in the rear, to post said proof. it HELPS in the long run to strenthen your claims. Okay?
