    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Last August I received a pair of Merauke GTPs which were supposedly in good health other then the female which has a greyed over eye caused by surgery for a clogged tear duct and recurring upper respiratory infections.

Since these snakes have been in my care they have improved quite a bit but the female is still a pain in the ass to feed. She has eaten for me ONCE since I got her in August. She will appear hungry and hang over her perch sometimes using the tip of her tail as a lure but when offered a stunned meal she recoils back and hides her head. The one time I did get her to eat I just left a live small rat in her cage every night and one morning I awoke to find it in her belly. This was about a month ago. She looks to be hungry at this moment and we have been playing the "do you want food now game" every night for about a week now. The male is eating great now taking pre killed sm rats off the tongs every other week. He has even trained himself to deficate in his water dish (placed under his perch on the cool side) which makes cage cleaning a snap. He has a really nice emerald green color and is already producing sperm plugs with sheds. His only defect is a crook at the end of his tail where it appears to have been broken years back. Both snakes are tame and can easily be handled. The male has to be taken out of his cage with gloves or a hook but that's just because of his feeding response. Once out of his cage he's a sweetheart. I have over 50 animals I'm working with right now and really don't have the time to baby the female and give her the attention she needs. I'm not splitting up the pair, they will be sold "as a pair". With the right care and experience I believe the female could breed next year if she had enough meals. The male is already ready to breed. With that said I am letting the pair go for $500 in South Florida. I'm not going to ship these guys so don't ask. Pics upon request.

Do you still have them avail? If so , please send me pics. Im located in miami.
Thanks, Manny

Still here, take them with a Vision 222 cage that includes a custom perch and pro products heat panel for $700.
