Metzcal software

Has anyone used metzcal software?? I put in all my snakes and wanted to see the punnet square and it seems that I can only use 1 gene snakes together or 2 gene snakes together. Meaning I can't make a square with a pastel and a bumble bee. but I can do a spider and pastel or a mojave lesser and a bumble bee.

And how would you put a Mojave x Lesser Bel in a punnet square if both genes are on the same alleles? Instead of NmNl just ML. Or am I way off?

Any info would be cool.. I've done some searching and can't find any help on the software.

I asked the same question here and on BP about getting the proper gene identifiers for Metzcal, but either no one else uses them, or it's top secret info that no one wants to give up

I was realy trying to use the software for tracking of my anmials from what and when they eat, parents and where I got them, age wieght and housing. it was just cool to have a punnent square builder that calculates what you would get out of pairing your own animals. but it doesn't work right,

Yea, that site was great!! funny how somethings are not translated even in the english version.. lol.. Now I need to figure out the way they do the gene's, I've only realy messed with the 2 letter versions and that doesn't always seem to work. And yea, Metzcal gene software seems to leave it open to do what you want except not what you need.. lol


God, I miss german beer....
