In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Mfezi.com has on their website and kingsnake.com some unique (to the casual show attendee like myself) African snakes. There is a user named mfezi on these forums with the name Don Schultz, which I assumed to be the same person. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Shaun Miller.

We sold him a bunch of adult bull snakes, and he was fast to pay ,and very easy to do business with. Haven't heard to much about buying from with but it should be fine.He has an add in Reptiles mag. about leading S.A. trips, and sounds pretty legit. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

i bought 2.2 african mole snakes from him a few months ago. he held them for me until it was convenient for me to ship. very professional and a nice guy to talk to.

the snakes were as advertised and they are still doing well.

i know tim cole also bought some animals from him, and i believe he was happy as well.

Don has excellent communication and do everything in his power to get the animals you want, great guy. Our deal didnt work out, but im waiting for him to get another shipment in so i can get the geckos i was originally interested in.

Don's communication is fine,he was friendly and quick to reply by email or phone call. The only problem i have with him is That i did a trade with him back in April for a 06 female albino house snake, which he said was feeding, to this day she has yet to feed voluntarily,I am having to assist feed. I contacted him, and he seemed apologetic, but otherwise did nothing. Now i keep enough snakes to know that some snakes are problem feeders, but like i said when i asked if it was feeding even before we did the trade,he told me it was.

Mixed, mostly good experience

I've purchased afew animals from Don at Mfezi. The cb mole snakes I got from him were very nice and started feeding much more easily than neonate moles I've worked with in the past. I also purchased 1.1 albino African House Snakes from him that fed like crazy from the start and are very beautiful. The not-so-good experience involved a pair of baby Olive House Snakes I also purchased from him. Olives can be really tough to start and in the wild are often lizard and small snake feeders. He said he had 2 pairs, one was not feeding and the other were "guaranteed rodent feeders." I bought the guaranteed feeders but they never fed voluntarily and both died despite my efforts to assist feed and ultimately, pinkie pump them with a very small quantity of macerated pinkie.

thanks for all the feedback

a few things, the animals i supply are difficult animals, sometimes they die, if they were easy, they would be corn snakes!! I speacialize in difficult animals, but i try and take away as many stumbling blocks and have high quality animals so that you guys can start with a clean slate.

I try and help people as much as possible, but there is only so much you can do. I am always available to answer questions about my animals and will help as much as i can when i can and how i can.

thanks for the feedback, i appreciate the bad as much as the good, it keeps me on my toes.

cheers, don

Thought i would post a update on the non-feeding albino house snake i received from mfezi, after never feeding voluntarily, i found her dead this morning. We did all we could but i guess it was not enough. We will chalk this up to a lesson learned. I am glad everything worked out for you others.

I have made two purchases and one trade with Don and everything went great. He was very responsive during the entire process and patient with me being a bit indecisive. All animals came in as nice looking or better than I anticipated. They were all shipped to a friend so I never saw the packing, but the shipping date was always as promised. I look forward to working with him in the future.

I havnt personally done business with him, but have seen him on other sites, and never anything negative. (for what its worth)

I bought a group of young house snakes from Don last year and everything went very smooth. Great service, beautiful animals, shipped properly... and Don is pretty cool too :)

A+

- Thanks,

Joe Farah
