Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

just wanted to put in a good word for mike(herpfauna plus). i just completed a second trade with him the other day and again i was VERY pleased. his animals have been exactly as described in both transactions, including the flaws he was honest enough to mention ahead of time.

Michael Enriquez (Good guy in my book!)

I just finished a trade with Mike. He was very good about meeting some
requests (like extra photos/etc). Animal was shipped through Delta and
was professionally packed and arrived in great shape. I was very happy
with three important things:
* The animal appears to be in excellent health
* The animal actually looked BETTER than the picture!
* The animal was advertised to me as a rat eater. I've had her now
for about 10 days and she has already eaten two medium rats for me
and I am VERY pleased (...as animals are often misrepresented on
their eating habits).
I would be happy to do business with Michael in the future.

Recently completed a trade with Michael.
Always had great communication, very healthy animals, he is local to me so there was no shipping involved. Overall he was a great person to deal with.

POSITIVE!

I recently purchased a female Mexican Pinesnake from Michael Enriquez. I have to say that I was not without my initial concerns....I first did a search on his name here on the BOI and found the thread regarding the tortoise purchase. I was put off and told Mike I had changed my mind....I've been scammed in the past and I was not wanting to take any risks, even though the animal Mike had was exactly what I wanted.

Mike explained the previous shaky situation to me further and assured me that I would be pleased with the snake if I bought her. He gave me his word that he would make good on any issues that might arise. I had a good feeling after talking to him more that he was a good guy and decided to give him a shot. I purchased the snake this past Sunday evening and received the snake this morning.....hands down the fastest turn around for a transaction I have ever had from payment to reception of the animal. The packing was excellent and she arrived alert and looking even better than in he the photos Mike sent me (he even took more photos at my request). The snake is hands down the calmest Pituophis I have come across and I could not be happier.

Did I mention that Mike even worked with me on the price and gave me a discount on his asking price? All in all, this was one of the best online transactions I have had in YEARS.....I cannot say more good things about the business integrity displayed by Mr. Enriquez. I would not hesistate for a moment to purchase from him again and would enthusiastically recommend him to anyone thinking of buying from him.

Thanks again Mike, you showed me that having faith in people is not a lost cause these days, even when so many bad seeds are floating around!
