    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Good Guy Michael Ogle (Michael) - outstanding experience, goes above and beyond

I didn't find a BOI thread for Michael Ogle (username Michael) from Knoxville, TN, and think he deserves to be recognized as a good guy. I had an outstanding experience this week purchasing a '12 0.1 Pastel Pied bp from Michael.

What impressed me the most about Michael was his willingness to go above and beyond in this transaction. When shipping temps plummeted for Indiana, Michael offered to drive to a half-way meeting point to deliver the snake. It would have been at least 7 hours round-trip for him, to ensure a successful delivery of the snake. Seven hours. That just speaks volumes right there.

Fortunately, weather played in our favor and we got one more window of safe shipping temps, and we changed our plans to ship instead. He shipped the Pastel Pied last evening, and she arrived uneventfully this morning, snug and secure in a box that was prepared and packed flawlessly for a safe journey.

Michael was very quick in responding to me, and thoroughly answered my questions, provided additional information and pictures as requested. It was obvious from the amount of detail he was able to provide around feeding habits and shed records, etc., that Michael takes pride in what he does.

I'm more than pleased with the entire transaction, and highly recommend working with Michael Ogle.

I've dealt with Michael in the past and his customer service goes way above and beyond!
I would also highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy!

I just received a Pastel het Clown ball python from Michael and couldn't be happier. Communication, packing and the animal itself were all outstanding. Would not hesitate to do business with again in the future.
