My house did burn down during this transaction in fact it happened 3 days before I had to ship to her the second time. As I stated before my house was struck thursday evning I shipped out on Monday as we agreed
Also I have tracking numbers from that shipment back to me I didnt just make it up to avoid embarrassment because you think I forgot to ship hers out, seems to be more embarrassing to admit I sent it to someone else then to say I forgot.

While my house burning down had nothing to do with this shipping blunder because it happened before. But her claim we dint communicate with her and she couldnt get a hold of us was after the fire happened I feel she is eggsagerating the fact she didnt have tracking numbers because she was told on the 20th of augest when we got the snake back that the tracking numbers would be the same because we didnt use her lable. She is not being truthful about this I was their when my wife told her.

I don't know why your so concerned with this its a little odd the amount of posts you've made for every positive feedback posted you come back and said something negative you clearly have taken a side

That's a bit harsh. She was relaying her issues with this company, that's all. Michael screwed up and most likely didn't ship out the first time. Instead of being honest about it he gave some excuse. Yes, he made good. But the bad taste was already left in her mouth.

If he is being honest about the shipment issues, all he had to do was share the tracking info.

Do you have reason to believe Michael's lying about this? The only proof of a lie I can find is the buyer lying about Michael not being willing to work with her on shipping when it appears she never asked him to.

His house did burn down before the snake was finally shipped to the correct address so it was during this transaction. I'm not even sure what to say about not trying to sell animals because his house burned down. That's silly.

Aside from never actually speaking to Michael on the phone, most of the emails were responded to from "Sharon". So I am wondering who I actually did business with. It was Sharon who took my calls, and most of my emails. So if Michael is really posting the replies on Fauna here, is he even aware of the conditions that took place on the sale? Because I was originally told by his wife "Sharon", that she indeed printed the labels and shipped them herself. Now Michael is claiming he was the one who printed and shipped them? I would like some clarification on this is possible, and from "michael_powell" as to who I am speaking to on this thread. While I can understand if she is sharing his Fauna account, she should of made it public that she was posting on his behalf, that's just my opinion though.

My wife was not posting on my behalf on fauna. we posted together she types faster so I let her explain exactly what she did. I can see the confusion but my business is our families business as with alot of breeders their wifes as well as their kids play a large roll in running the business. I am better in some area and they are better in other areas. when customers do business with us they do business with me mostly when it comes to genetics and and all husbandry of the snakes, including whats available. My wife handels all the payments and shipping so when their is a problem with that she calls the customer and works it out. that is what happend here.

Their was a mix up and I sent you two boxes one box has a male banana and the other has a platinum golden child retic its not aggressive. It was suppose to go to someone else but the labels got mixed up. I need you to ship that back to me please I will of course pay the shipping. You can leave him in the box as its packed and just print and tape label to the box. I can email you a label and set up the pickup if you need me to. You can print these labels and tape them to the box and ship right back tonight if you will please. Your box has you name and address on one of the sides of the box open that one first make sure its your's then take the other box and place new label over old one you wont even have to open the box.

I would avoid telling them their is a snake in the box if at all possible sometimes they like to be funny and not accept the package. with the little red label on the box it shouldn't be an issue.

Unfortunatly no I can't if we did it would be returned in 6-7 business days the snake wouldnt make it. they dont ship back overnight express unless I pay for delivery back

oh okay, well I am leaving work in about 10 min, I figure I have over 2 hours to get there .i should make it.

He only had one snake advertised that the buyer was interested in. She asked, he stated he didn't have any ready to go, or No. Doesn't matter. He is not under any obligation to sell to her or anyone anything. More so, that he wasn't even advertising any others at that point.

If he wanted to not sell them that day, it's nobodies business how many others he might have. Holdbacks or not, it isn't the buyers concern what he is doing with other snakes in his possession.

You aren't required to sell something to anybody here to be considered a good business person, if you don't want to.

You need to truthfully advertise the product your selling and deliver it to the buyer in good health. You have to be respectful, communicate and deliver.

You do not have to sell something at a specific time for any reason just because someone wants it. He said no. His reasons don't need to be justified and he is under no obligation to do so.

Yes we can assume the other GC's were hold backs, but for their to be multiples of the same exact genetics of hold backs going up for sale right after I purchased one, didn't make me feel too sure about him being honest with me when I had asked if he had others available.

The next issues was during the shipping process. I had paid in full, and it was time to discuss shipping the snake. I work 6 days a week, sometimes a full 7. And he was not willing to work with me on shipping, I had asked him to ship on a day that I could be home to sign for it, and he kept saying it was better for "him" if he shipped on a Monday. So I had to take the Tuesday off to be home.

Am I missing something here?

Monday- Wednesday is pretty much the whole authorized and safe shipping week for reptiles.

You stated Tuesday was the only day you could get off work.

It was a misfortune deal that went down. I'm sure Mike was as stressed if not more than the OP about this. From the looks of things I'd say this is not his standard operating procedure and did his best to rectify.

Just to give more positivity to this. I have bought and sold to Michael, and all times have gone great and smooth. He's always been clear on his communications with me, through him or his wife, and we managed to work out deals together smoothly. The buyer in this case has a right to feel upset that she had a missed shipping date, but that's about the cutoff point. It was an honest mistake, it was owned up to and ended up costing Michael double in shipping just to correct.

Anyone seeing this and skipping to the end, do not be afraid to buy from or work with Michael.

Hope the home rebuilding goes well! Was glad to hear your snakes were kept in a separate building when you shared the story on facebook.
