In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Here's another project I'm working on. For the past 3 years, I've hatched one or two completely black baby blizzards each year. They tend to lighten up a little to a charcoal grey with age, but I'm hoping that I can get them to come out darker with every generation. I'd like to produce that pure black leopard gecko that many people are looking for. Here's my progress so far:

This is an adult breeding male from my colony:

That really makes my black blizzard female look more normal now. She is not alone!! Ha, boy I'm a big dweeb. (Can't be a dork, because Robin is a dork and if I say I'm a dork too then Overton becomes confused)

Im still confused, you said your "WHAT"
and Robin is a dork, so what are you?.......what!....where am I?

I'm looking into purchasing a boa from Garrick and was wondering if anyone had purchased any animals from him or what they knew of him.

Garrick,

Great to see you posting on here! That is a very cool looking blizzard. I really hope you do make an all black Leo, that would be soooo cool!

I'm looking into purchasing a boa from Garrick and was wondering if anyone had purchased any animals from him or what they knew of him.

I have purchased a few animals from Garrick, and have never been disappointed. I even purchased one without seeing it first, I trusted his judgement, and let me tell you, I was VERY happy. Garrick has great animals, and great customer service skills, you can't go wrong by doing business with him.

That has got to be the darkest blizzard I've seen! With a start like that, you might be able to create that black leo afterall.

Nice, my midnight gets almost that dark at times, but as has been alluded here on other posts, they tend to lighten up over time, and are also dependent on alot of other factors for thier color depth. Mine will lighten and darken based on mood, temps, time of day, light in the room, etc.

VERY nice one there though!

heh... yes that is indeed a very cool leo.

Garrick hasn't been online here since May, but I'll let him know what y'all think when I see him at Tinley this weekend :raspberry Who knows, I might even post a picture of one of his geckos in my rack!

Oh, and I know this isn't a BOI thread, so I won't say what an awesome guy Garrick is to deal with, nor will I say that I can't wait to buy from him again or that he has the coolest set up and animals that I've ever seen. Okay? :dgrin:

I always miss the date of the original posting! LOL...it should be larger for people who are blind like me!

heehee , i saw the date first thing :raspberry

Someone just dragged it up to ask about Garrick .

You can do a search on the BOI (board of inquiry)section of this website , to get some better answers .
