    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Daniel.... If you'll ever READ my guarantee.... that's why I have the first 24 hours are for buyer's remorse!!.... Which means that if for any reason, you want to return the animal, you will get a full refund including the shipping back to me.... If that guy with the Mite-Phase wanted to return it, he could have and he would have gotten his refund!.... And another thing.... if this other guy who got a better deal elsewhere was going to pick it up at my store.... that's a lot different from someone having it shipped.... If you see it, and like it, and buy it, then there is no way you can expect a refund.... just like at a show, but, if he had me ship it to him, and he didn't like it, then by all means I would have refunded him his money.... that's all there is to it.... so stop assuming things you have no clue of.... because (in this instance) you are dead wrong!!

Seems odd that you are both from Tampa & have never met. I've never met you & don't have anything against you - even if I don't agree with you. If you have the 24 hr. refund clause that's cool. If I stated that I had a 48 hr. refund clause would I say you should honor 48 hrs. because I do - NO. As the seller, I reserve the right to offer a refund. I do not have to bow to you or anyone because they have "demaded" a refund - especially if they are VERY RUDE about it!! I offered Mike the two snakes he wanted & he was still belligerent. I kept my cool the whole time because I do not need to stoop to his level. Bottom line is - he ordered a snake & got the snake we both agreed upon. You made the 24 hr. clause - that doesn't mean I have to do business the same way. Because this Joe-Schmo is selling Mite-phase GTPs for $100/ea. does that mean you have to?? NO!!!!! I know people that have a seven day guarantee - are you goin' to change your's to a seven day guarantee?? I doubt it!! I offered him the snakes OR CREDIT & I think that is more than he deserved after acting the way he did. He got the snake he paid for.

Good for you Neil. I respect a good return policy. I don't need to go to your site, I'll take your word for it but I think you are missing the point. The point is = I DO NOT HAVE TO OPERATE MY BUSINESS THE SAME WAY YOU OPERATE YOURS. You don't have to do something because someone else does. Now I know someone who has a 30 day guarantee - are you going to change your policy - NO!!!! Get the point now Neil??? I doubt it - I think you just like to argue. By the way, I know someone selling Albino Ball Pythons for $50 - now you have to.
 
Hey Neil! I know someone who has a 1 year return policy on all animals they sell, for any reason. you gonna change your policy to match it?

Michael.... you can run your business any way you want to, it's certainly no sweat off my back.... but, I can guarantee you, that if you put in your ads that "All Sales are Final".... "Once you give me your money, you will never get it back and you will have to keep the animal I send you".... you won't be around for too long.... now, do YOU get it???

Guess you missed this in my previous post Neil!

I do not need to offer a 24 hr. refund to get people to buy from me. I have no problems in that dept. - haven't had any for years. Don't forsee any in the future. I sell HEALTHY C.B.B. animals that speak for themselves. Usually, animals that I have produced. I would like to think I'm known for the quality of my animals not for 24 hr or seven day return policy that I advertise. The only people that NEED to offer a return policy are the people that sell CRAP.
 
CRAP or what I usually refer to as "Pet Store Quality" animals & we have all been to Pet Stores so take that any way you like.

I have read this thread and as a business owner I offer only credit
to any customer (advice from my lawyer) I would never give a refund! Also I think that most people that are considering any purchase shop around first then make a deal, not the other way around!

My name is Jeremy Coates, and I am here to put in my 2-cents. Mike is a good guy. I have seen his animals at several shows, and as far as I am concerned the $200 animal was worth what the guy paid even if (he) is right. I just don't understand why Mike would all of a sudden change all ethics, and start sending out the wrong animals??? I have purchased many animals from Mike including some Albino Whitesides in October. I was very happy with the animals that I got, and if this guy is complaining then he has a serious problem. There is always someone out there that is selling the same "species" for a cheaper price, but is it the same animal? No. You get what you pay for. If you purchase from Mike Jolliff then you may pay a little more, but for the quality and the bloodline isn't it worth it? It is for me, and it should be for everyone. I have never heard a bad thing about Mike before, and I surely will not change my mind because he stuck to his policy. As long as I can provide the animal that has been paid for then there is no need for a refund of cash. I offer a credit. I guess that I don't see what the problem is. Now if the guy had called Mike up and said:

Hey, I am really trying to put a breeding group of these guys together, and there is a guy that offered me a pair for the price that I paid you for one. Would you please give me a refund, and I assure you that I will not forget this favor and come back to you in the future when I am looking to add higher quality animals.

If this had been the way that the situation was handled then I would say with 100% confidence that Mike would have refunded the money without question. Well, that is all that I can say here, and "Mike Alvarez" I hope that you learn something from what I put here. Violence and harsh language does not get you anywhere in this life. Try being nicer, and people will appreciate it.
