• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I recently joined this forum to look for Jungle Carpet Pythons. I was skeptical, to say the least, when I joined because I had never done a shipping transaction and I have heard horror stories. It didn't take long for me to find the perfect JCP from Mike Curtin. I read a few reviews on this forum and everyone seemed to say that Mike was an all around good guy so I decided to give it a shot. Well, everyone was right! Mike is an incredible guy. He replied to me quick, answered all of my questions, told me everything I needed to know about the JCP and most important, his packaging job was wonderful. The JCP arrived on time and in excellent condition. I couldn't have asked for the process to go any smoother. I am now a believer that there are exceptionally good guys out there that just want to provide their customers with beautiful and healthy animals. Thank you so much, Mike! I appreciate everything that you did and I hope I do business with you again :eek:

I certainly echo yours and others opinions of Mike. It is kind of scarry to trust what one tells you they have and to believe it is nearly as good as they indicate. But, with Mike that all seems to be put at ease as he answers your questions (many in my case), keeps you informed, advises you on selection and care, and then hand-picks the best for you. That is all complimented by the care and effort he puts into then getting your new friends to you safely and securely --- you can tell he really cares!
I am now, at this time, the proud owner of a beautiful female woma python and most recently a stunning pair of granite spotted pythons all of which I obtained from Mike. I couldn't be more pleased with each of them and I am glad I got this opportunity to sing my praises of Mike --- and it takes a lot to get me to sing!! Hope I didn't hurt your ears.

Thanks to Mike for these special additions to my collection --- but mostly thanks for being one of the truly "good guys" in this hobby.

I just received a new Jungle Carpet from Mike's DeliaxScattershot pairing and I am more than pleased. It is more than what I expected and is in great health. You can tell that Mike takes pride in his animals and their care. He also gave me the utmost respect as a customer and was very easy to work with! I will definitely be dealing with Mike again down the road. I would highly recommend Mike Curtin and Scattershot Exotics to anyone who wants some high end Carpet Pythons!!!
