    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I would love to do all those things, but that would harrassment, and he could turn around and sue me. I have to be very careful with what I do. I am hoping that by alerting every person I can about him, he will loose enough business that he ralizes that he is loosing more than he owes me.

I have contacted as many organizations as possible, including DF&W, DF&G, USDA, the USPO and several others. I am now in the process of filing a report with the police department.

Yup file a report with your police department and his local police department. Also since this was an internet deal file a report wit IC3(this is the FBIs internet crimes division). Also file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and keep on top of the wildlife agencies, maybe you can get his business and wildlife permits/licenses revoked. Once you have that guess what? You will have all your ducks in a row and you can file a nice lawsuit against him and it will be filed in your town and state which means it will be up to him to meet you and cover the travel expenses of going to court. If he doesn't show then you automatically win if he shows up you should win all the same. Once you've won if he still doesn't pay then you can get your lawyer to put a nice lien on whatever property he has.

you will need all his personal info (full name, address, business address, etc...) in order for the police to take you seriously (they still might not but who know you might get lucky but at the very least you'll have it reported) but you can buy this info legally on the internet nowadays for a about $10 (well worth it).

Dealing with this kind of a thing can be a real hassle but the more time and effort you put into it the higher your chances of getting it resolved and even if it doesn't at least in the end you'll have the satisfaction of knowing that you did everything you could as well as given someone who's screwed you and possibly others as much of a hassle as they've given you.
 
Where was the payment mailed?
Was it to his house or business?
That might be a good start in trying to track this guy down and give an address to the authorities.

WOW!!! Thank You all SOOO Much. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. I am so excited that I have some new ways to try to get my money back. I had about given up. I will definitely be pursuing this with the new ideas and info you have been so kind to give me.

I would suggest sending copies of the emails threatening you to your local and his local police department if you haven't already. Threats on your family is nothing to mess with. If someone were to threaten my family and the police weren't doing anything I would be finding other means of taking care of it.
