    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

As a breeder his number 1 priority should be the safety & well being of his offspring he's selling. When he decided to ship Usps 2 day that shows what this individuals priorities are. To make as much $$$ as possible and the animals welfare be damned. If he didnt want to pay $85 for Fed ex he should have posted his price and said shipping is NOT inc. in this price. Then its the buyers responsiblity to pay the extra $$$ for overnight shipping. As the breeder its his responsiblity to make sure those dragons would arrive safely.
 
That's why I was so upset. I even said if he had told me before sending them that he wanted more for shipping fed ex, because he didn't realize it'd be so high, I would have sent it! I can't find that e-mail, though! I sure didn't want him to send through USPS though. Was very shocked when he told ne he did that.

My son is sick and was feeling bad yesterday anyway-and it didn't help any finding out HIS dragon was dead. :(
 
man Angie, this is not your year for reptiles...the snakes and now this. so sorry to hear all this. def not the best move sending them USPS...ugh
 
Im not sure if hes new at this or if it was just an honest uneducated mistake. Maybe he didnt know better?
Im not trying to justify his shipping method, but as long as he does pay you your money back then he will learn from his mistake.
That was nice of you to post this of a info thread instead of a bad guy, because I have seen a lot of people jump the gun and bash on peoples names before the transaction has been finalized. :thumbsup:
 
I do NOT like posting bad guy threads. And as a general rule I don't do it. I figure that it'll turn into what it turns into, and I'm just giving a heads up. I figured it might be a newbie mistake as well, and this would give him an incentive to do it properly.
 
I really am happy with the 2 that lived, and I hope he doesn't hold a grudge against me for posting this. He was good to work with-this is ALL about the fact that he shipped USPS and not Fed ex like he stated he was going to. I thought ALL the dragons would have arrived dead, but was suprised to see that 2 made it.
I REALLY don't want any hard feelings between us, and just hope he takes this as a learning tool. :)
 
BTW, the 2 remaining ones are going after their roaches like little champs.
 
Now I got an e-mail from Mike asking me to take this down! I told him that I can't and that if he follows through with his promise to refund he could come out of it looking ok, and people would be more likely to understand. Says I'm the first person he's ever had to refund.

He also told me "I CAN'T put his name out here cause it's a breach of privacy." :rolleyes::rolleyes:
 
Oh, yeah, and he's trying to tell me that the stink is just beardie poop.

Then why doesn't the cage stink when my beardies poop in it?? I change my other cage once a week and they don't stink!
 
WOW, you can clearly see in the pictures they are dead, 3 heat packs would have done it. I think this threat might have changed his mind bout refunding. You can say whoevers name you want online how is it a breach of privacy?

Ps: Im glad the other two are doing good.
 
I think he's still going to do it, but if he doesn't then this will be a bad guy thread, instead.
 
Hope you do get your refund, but it looks like he is trying to cover his mistakes by other means of reason. In your pic, you can obviously tell they are dead. why would you try to even lie about it, if you told him that two did survive. (I'm glad they did and hope the'll be knock outs for you).
He should just face up to is mistake, and learn from it, not say that you don't know the difference between poop and rotting flesh.

yes. in the emails posted, he agreed to send $100 money order refund.

There is no way around it now, there is only one right way to resolve this.
 
Yep, he did say he would. I have no reason to believe he won't keep his word at this point.
