    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Mike Massey - The Worst Guy Ever

Mike Massey Called me!!!

I got the oddest of phone calls earlier this evening. It was Mike Massey himself. He wanted to know if I still wanted the snake I paid for over 8 months ago, or if I wanted my refund. He claims he doesn't have the money because he's waiting on income taxes from the past three years.

I may not be the smartest person around, but aren't you suppose to do that each year? I guess those calls to the FBI paid off.

Mike is suppose to call me back tomorrow night to let me know on the progess of getting the money back that he owes me.

I'm not sure about everybody else, if anybody else has gotten to talk to him.

I told him, until the money is in my account, my criminal charges against him will still stand.

I got the same story from Mike and the detective in toledo and I had the same response for Mike. I guess we will see what happens.

I haven't heard from mike in a week after he said he was going to get back to me in a few days. I left him 3 messages. I hope he is not trying to blow me off and is actually working. Steve, when did you talk to him?

Mike Massey is nothing more then a scam artist with one lie after another. It has been a week since he called me. He doesn't have a new job, he's just trying to by time from us.
I'm continuing my charges against him and will have the Toledo Police knocking on his Door this weekend. He's going to jail. I've given him 7 months to make things right with me, and he is still lieing to me.

Has any body else heard back from Mike Massey? I just got off the phone with him and he still claims he has no money to pay anybody back.
Just curious if anybody was getting anywhere with him. I'm calling the Toledo Police again in the morning.

Mike called me again last night and told me he was working again or training anyways for a new job and then told me the same story that he told me the last time. It is hard to tell if he is actually trying or just dragging this out longer. I hope he is trying to make this right, but I guess only time will tell.
 
Has anybody heard from Mike Massey recently?
It has been two weeks since this guy claimed he was trying to get my money back to me. He still thinks he didn't do anything wrong... but I'm hopeful in a refund.

I had my attorney send him another letter, and I've talked to the Toledo Police about his lack of cooperation.

Just thought I would ask, since this thread has become quiet.

No new news?

Well it has been about 2 months since I've heard or talked to Micheal Massey. I decided as all of you I've been taken for the money I've invested as well. So I reread all ove the posts and got the information to contact Det. Blake Watkiss. I decided to see if Mike Massey could be reached by phone, surprise, surprise. . .the phone number (419) 320-4139 is valid. I recieved his voicemail with my phone number. I will be contacting Toledo Police Deptment tomorrow during normal business hours and filing a complaint for myself.

I'd really like to know the true story of what happened, but oh well. I wish everyone luck on getting there money back, and I hope my hets prove out. I will gladly update anyone if/when I have something further useful to contribute.

Hello everyone my name is Paul Wyble I have never had dealings with Mike but a few weeks ago I ran into a young man from Ohio at my locale reptile show in Pittsburgh he said he had a few snakes for sale he had a pair of het Axanthics and a trio of het for albinos all purchased from Mike Massey of Toledo Ohio I remembered seeing this thread started on him so I went out to this young mans car to see what he had I asked them (his father was there with him) if they ever sexed them because the male het for albino was about 4 feet and about 2700 grams and I thought that anybody that has any intention on breeding a male would not feed them to get that big so he informed me he did not sex them because he did not know how so I offered to sex them for him well to his surprise he ended up with 4 males and one female and they all looked to be wildcaught well he sat on the phone with Mike for about an hour before he was hung up on and then Mike wouldnt answer the phone again well I just wanted to let you guys know that the chances of your hets proveing out are pretty slim seeing how it looks likehe sold a few pair of these so called adult het for Axanthics well this was just my 2 cents please feel free to email me if you have any questions Paul Wyble

Hi Paul,

If you could get the young man to post more info, that could be useful. If Mike is still selling snakes after all the complaints, that would be pretty good proof that he isn't going to fix anything and is solely trying to stall for time in claiming otherwise and he needs to be put out of business asap. I'll email Chris with an idea on how that can be done legally by the police.
 
Has anybody heard from Mike Massey recently? Its been about 4 weeks since I last spoke with him on the phone. He told me then that he still didnt have the money to refund to me, let alone the thousands he stole from everybody else.
He has since refused communication with me. I have spoken to the Toledo Police Dept. which have been of little help. I have an appointment with my attorney tommorow to file charges of grand theft and internet fruad against mike in West Virginia (Where I live).
I'm not sure how everybody else feels, but if he doesn't want to refund the money, I'm not going to stop until he is put in jail.

Hey guys whats goin on what paul said is true.. i am the young man from the reptile show. my name is also mike not to be comfused with massey.. anyways i bought what i thought was 1.1 100% het axanthics and 1.2 100% het albinos off of mike massey monts ago (during the winter) i did cash/trade (snakes money speakers and a very vauluable diamond ring) anyways to make a long story short when i took them to the reptile show with me to see if anyone could help me out paul was more than kind enough to come out to my car and sex them for me.. just to be sure he even popped them. i had all males and one possible female. so out of 5 snakes 4 were males and 1 possibl female. i tried to call mike and he kept saying he was looking for the paperwork and the photos etc basically giving me the run around and then wouldnt say aythin for like 15 mins and then say he was waiting for me to talk to him type of bull <font color=red>[**censored**]</font> (paul and my father and g/f were all their listining to our convo) anyways i got no where with him and then he tried pulling the hello hello type of crap like my phone was shorting out.. (i was standing still the whole time outside) anyways he hung up on me few times and when i calle back he would act like it was my phone. so anyways i have been trying to work out a deal for months to just get my stuff back from mike then he tried to offer me a male baby pastel for like the 3000 in trade he owes me.. and everyone knows a baby male pastel could be bought for aound 900 bucks.. so anways i told him the one snake i would take is an adult to sub adult female albino bp.. well i talked to him like 3 times after the show and he would never talk about getting my stuff back to me or my snake always changing the subject.. it has now been over a month or more with him not returning my calls etc.. its really getting old.. i live about 4-5 hours from mike.. and met him half way on our one trade.. anway im so pissed off and need some help just like the rest of you on putting this dude in either jail or making things right. we need to do something about this and make sure we all get compensated for our losses ( intrest please.. lol) anyways if you want to contact me please feel free my e-mail is [email protected] and my cell number is 330 881 1983.. i would be more than happy to tell my story to anyone :)
 
I have tried on several different dates to reach Mike Massey. He is just a crook and won't return money or property that he has stolen. The last time I talked to him, which was in June, he still claimed that he had done nothing wrong.
I agree, this guy needs to be put in jail.

Has anybody made any progress with getting property or money back from Mike Massey?
His claims of refunding me the $550 he stole has so far come up empty, despite many quotes of "the money is on its way".

If anybody has a better way to get ahold of Massey please email me. He won't answer emails or phone calls.

The last time I called him, he answered and then claimed he wasn't home...LOL

I have been in contact with Mike weekly until last week. I had an agreement with him and the detective in toledo - blake watkis that mike was supposed to pay me with his taxes and the absolute latest day would have been the 11th of this month. Mike keep on telling me that the taxes didn't show up yet. Now that the last possible day has passed, Mike doesn't answer his phone or call me back. I just called the detective again and he said he was going to go to his house again. Mike aparently works till 10:30 or 11:30 pm every night. The detective said that if he doesn't pay again that I will have to come to Ohio and go to court. My question to him was why would I have to go there and make it conveinient for Mike? Why wouldn't I go to court here in NJ? Tomorrow I am going to my local police and file another theft complaint and I am going to ask them if/when I go to court will I have to go to Ohio or can I get him to come to NJ?

Today, Friday the 13th, Mike called me saying he still hasn't gotten his taxes back, but will just start paying me weekly from his paycheck until he gets his taxes and then he will pay me in full. I am guessing that the detective contacted him again and that is why he is trying/pretending to cooperate...? Anyways I will keep everyone informed.
