    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have a quick question for everyone who might know this guy Mike. I did a deal with Mike a week before Christmas involving a trade between a male hypo boa (MINE) and a pair of 100% Adult Het Albino Ball Pythons (HIS).


Now I told him for a while that I didn’t want him to ship over the winter and to hold the animals because of the cold , and that’s fine. Now the cold has ended and its been a different story every other day about why the snakes aren’t coming.

Now I’m starting to get a little worried because of his lack of caring on my part, a 15 yr old kid. I would think he would be more understanding to my questions and concerns because of my age and the amount of money involved because I saved for that snake for so long.

Another reason why I am starting to get worried is because when I asked who produced the animals he answered to me “Clarke Masters” and claimed that “Clarke” has many ball pythons and is a private breeder with an extensive collection. Now that’s all and good BUT……..I put a post up on here the other day inquiring about “:Clarke” and there was not ONE response. Now you tell me but if this guy had any ball pythons and especially the ones that MIKE mentioned PIEDS, ALBINOS, ETC-then someone would of heard of him. Doesn’t anyone agree?

Now I’m not stating that Mike has indeed screwed me, I’m just looking for some input on what I should do and if anyone knows these two guys because it seems like Mike is doing his best to avoid a 15 year old.

Now all I want in this situation is for my original hypo boa back and or money back because I honestly do not think that I will be getting 100% Adult Het Albino balls.

Any input would be greatly appreciated on this situation and if I’m wrong for being worried please let me know, but honestly I’m just a kid trying to work hard and have some nice snakes.

Don't buy from him

I paid Mike Massey $580 in September of last year for a female 100% het albino ball around 400 grams. It took him two weeks to get me the snake. When I got it, it was a male. It took weeks to get mike to agree to take the snake back. He has had the snake back in his possesion since November. I am still waiting on him to provide me a refund for the money. He claims he will ship a replacement when the weather got better. It's been in the 70's where I am at for a couple of weeks, with no snake and no emails from Mike?
I have turned this matter over to my attorney to solve.
I hope this helps you from getting screwed like I did.
Stay away from Mike Massey. You can email me with any questions. I can't post anything from my attorney yet, but I have all emails of Mike with his false claims.

Steve, you know better, how many times have you told me to ship them things differant places then change your mind the next day. Thats what I thought. Joe, I talked to you on the phone, and told you, as soon as the weather breaks she goes out, I dont hear from you for weeks, then I email YOU saying hey weather is picking up and you respond saying you changed your mind. BS.... I am tired of this crap, fine, both of you will be sent out Monday, low of frickin 28, Dont you dare come crying to me if there is a problem, no way will I guarentee them at that low of temps. I will of course use heatpacks and insulation but I will not guarentee anything when temps are that low. You both know that but are too impatient to wait for it. Fine, it was your call. Unreal.
 
I've waited 6 months for a refund from Mike massey. I have patience. Due to advice from my attorney, the package from you will NOT be accepted. And you should know better then to ship in wether that cold. I care greatly for my animals, unlike some people.

I have to say a quick apologie. That was not Steve who made the original post but someone else on his computer who didnt know what was going on, didnt mean to snap at you bud, I have just been stressed the last couple days cause of the other guy. Sorry about that, give me a call.

Since your reading this, do me a favor and refund my $580 please. Your right, we did have a deal. The deal was I pay you $580 for a female 100% het ball. Then your part was to send it to me. I paid for it in September 2003, its now April 2004 and I have nothing? Who is being impatient? I have tried to conduct this manner with you peacefully, but you don't seem to like that idea. This post was on your reputation. As I see it, you are a dishonest guy. Thats my two cents.
Please do us both a favor and refund the money. you have been promising a snake to me for months now. I get and send snakes all the time and haven't had ONE death. Its 70 where I'm not and you won't send? But it will be 28 on monday and all of a sudden you are ready to send? Is that bc I have turned this over to my attorney? I find that funny.
To the person who started this post, save your money. This guy has ripped me off. Please be careful with who you do business with.

You sent me a differant snake, stupid me I couldnt prove it so I said fine, I will send you a new one, but you had to wait for weather. Bottom line, we had an agreement, you dont call or anything, I frickin email you and all of a sudden you change your mind. No way bud. Do what you want. I will keep our agreement, Plain and simple, that I send it when it is nice enough, that was our agreement several times over. Bottom line, so quit with the BS and talking crap and do whatever you want. I am keeping my end of the DEAL.
 
Don't change your mind now. You got the same snake back. You went on about how you forgot it had such great markings. Don't lie to me or anybody about this. Your a scam artist, plain and simple.
BUYER BEWARE....Mike Massey will take your money and send you a different snake...then lie about it. I can and will prove everything I need to when I take him to court for this matter.

P.S. Post the emails too, I said way in the begining the one you sent me was much prettier than mine. Oh and since we are on the subject, why dont you mention the condition the poor thing was in when you sent it. Keep digging your hole buddy.
 
I don't feel like playing childish games anymore. Mike seems to have nothing better to do, so I'll let him continue ranting.
I have pics of the snake the day HE was sent back to Mike.
If anybody has any comments, I will be more then happy to answer them. I take great pride in my animals.

This is my last comment about you Joe, first of all, if you want me to call you so friggin bad I will, but I am recording the call, no more of your BS. If you dont agree with being recorded then too friggin bad. Secondly, I understand you are young and impatient, but I swear, I will post your emails where you admitted to its poor condition and pics of it and flush your rep down the toilet faster than you can blink. I told you, I am not going to be bullied into anything, I will honor my end of the deal, bottom line. Done.... I am trying really hard to not let it go to that point. But your makeing it really hard for me.

I only admitted it had just shed a week before you got it. It was a deep shed. But it all came off great and the snake looked awesome. If it weren't a male I probably would have kept it.
I am not out to ruin anybody, and I have nothing to hide. If you are really such an honest person, why are you so worried about me? What is making you so upset, unless you have something to hide? Oh yeah, if you call, record it...that way we have it on tape, so you won't be able to change your mind.

Honestly Mike, you say you don't get my emails. I gave you my number bc you said you lost it. Call me if you want. Its a free country.

If you want to do a transaction with Mike, go for it. I seem to have had a really had dealing with him, and I WILL NEVER do another then with him again. But like I sad, thats my two cents. Take it for what its worth.

Please dont bring Steve into it, that was a big mistake he will straighten out. Plain and simple, keep our deal and quit trying to take me for a ride and thats it. I didnt get any emails from you or phone calls since we talked on the phone and agreed to waiting for a nice day to ship. Before this thread was even up I emailed you the other day and told you I was thinking of shipping soon cause the weather is looking better this upcoming week. And then BAM.... All of this. Only 2 things concern me here, 1 Like I said, Steve I am sorry I snapped, but you understand why, I thought that was you. 2 Joe, I will keep my promise as I told you, and ship the first good day. Next weeks temps are picking up quite nicely. I gave a promise, you agreed to it. Done.

Where are you located? What type of balls are you interested in? I don't have any for sale right now, other then a couple of finicky eater females. I just like talking to the younger generation getting into this hobby. I've been at it for a couple of years. Before that it was just keeping them for pets.

Actualy Joe, Steve is coming to my place for a week long herping visit lol, thats why I was wigging out when I saw this post. He will be on tonight though he always is, I am sure he will respond.

but the truth of it is mike is comeing down to pick me up, he is actually a friend of mine and I think he is a good guy.joe as far as you go i think you should talk to mike via phone and settle it yes i am not going to lie that was a long time but winter did come and it was a harsh one this year so you got to factor that one in. yes mike you are right the weather did mess up shipping but you know i hate waiting lol. and my dad put the post up and he knows nothing about shipping nothing about snakes so the weather was not in his mind. he just knew i didnt have them but he didnt know we were waiting till it was warm or untill you come get me. i hope this straightens everything out. cant wait to go herping dude
