I would call that making things right. I have asked Mike several (I mean several) questions on keeping frogs. I have always wanted to get a few for my 2 daughters. After getting to know him through text and messaging about keeping them and why I want to get them, heck, he offered me 4 frogs (my pick of morph) and he would send them to my daughter for free. All I have to do if pay shipping. Don't care what anyone says, that is an awesome deal and he did not have to do that at all. I have never met the man before in my life nor have I ever seen him. I would say he is ok in my book though for what he is doing. So, when my family gets done traveling this summer for our vacations I will be sending him shipping and then we will make our transaction. Great guy by me.

I don't ask anyone to comment here on fauna. The information they give is disregarded or they are threatened with a ban.

Any evidence to support that claim? Threatened by a ban? How and who exactly? The ONLY way I can see this as even a slim possibility of truth is if they choose to violate the rules for posting here. Primarily, that means complying with the rule concerning REAL full identity. If someone is inclined to provide truthful statements, then they should have no qualms whatsoever over making such statements using their real identity in order to do so. So with that in mind, false identities are strongly and actively discouraged here. Someone doesn't like that rule? Sorry, but maybe facebook is more suitable to what you want.

Other than that, as long as they don't act in an obviously derogatory and threatening nature towards staff or other members that is blatantly in disregard of the rules of this site concerning interpersonal engagements, then anyone is free to publicly post their thoughts here.

As for information being disregarded, well, how is that the fault of this site? Perhaps the information being provided is just not worthy of being considered credible? A lot of people here seem to have pretty capable BS detectors at their disposal. So that is strictly between the person or persons posting such information, and the people who are reading said information. We do not filter what is posted, and we certainly do not make judgment calls on such information.

If you have evidence to the contrary, I would like to see such evidence.

Hence why very few people use this site.

It is my studied opinion that there are quite a few people that the world could do without, much less this site. And when I encounter them here, I really don't shed tears when they get evicted. But honestly, I have given more than just a few of them more chances than some people would consider as being sane to prove the reasons for them being banned here were done in error. It is disappointing to see so many fail to provide that proof.

Fortunately, sooner or later, many those people tend to wind up sleeping in the bed they made for themselves, so it does seem that karma actually is a real force that has to be taken into consideration in life. And I would bet that they still cannot see the base reason for their failure to reach the potential they were truly capable of becoming. Is it really that tough for everyone to just be a GOOD person and do what is fair and honest to others?

The way I have seen it around here, "disregarded" often means "discredited" based on suspect content or source. Not everything everyone says is going to be noteworthy enough to earn a direct reply or comment.

And "attacked" often means "disagreed with" and/or questioned about suspect statements and actions. To some people, I guess those terms might be considered as functionally equivalent, depending on how thin their skin is to criticism and interrogation. But everyone here is subject to being disagreed with. The best defense against thinking it an attack is to not get emotionally attached to what you are saying thinking it must be gospel to everyone.

So I am curious about how you see those terms used differently to apply to what you have seen on this site.

Come Tuesday morning when mr bumb receives his 9 replacement frogs and 15 free frogs it will be completely ignored on this site.

Why? Because by sending him replacement and going over and beyond what he is owed I am doing those that hate me on here a disfavor.

One less thing for them to complain about. They won't know what to do with there lives.

I think you have control issues. The way the BOI works, is that business issues are discussed and everyone contributes ideas. When the latest thread was initiated, I came up with this post:

Otherwise, there would be zero incentive for someone who has a bad history to do better. There bad guy threads about Mike, but there are also reports of successful transactions.

Sorry, but it is NOT a requirement of this site that participants in BOI threads have any direct involvement with any specific transaction or the persons directly involved. This is a BOARD of inquiry composed of all the members interested enough and willing enough to participate to try to come to their own understanding and conclusions about the issue(s) presented. Each and every person who participates here is encouraged to form their own opinion about what they believe the truth to be, and if so inclined, express that opinion publicly as well.

Always been that way here, and I strongly suspect that it always will. At least as long as I am running this joint.

The TOPIC of this thread is "Mike Matson". Anyone who wants to can contribute their thoughts as long as such posts and their registration remains within the rules of this site. They can agree with the label of BAD GUY or GOOD GUY (whichever applies), or disagree with it, their choice. No one is holding any gun to anyone's head trying to coerce them to think one way or another.

It should also be noted that no thread posted here has any sort of termination date applied to it, whether it be chronological or event based. Any thread can be resurrected by any interested party who feels there is sufficient reason to bring the topic back up for discussion.

Not send me a email going it was sick when I bought it and it died. I want a $170.00 refund or I'm posting a fauna bio I won't give into that bs.

Rick can take me to court. I have given him the serving address for this 2 year ordeal. I can't wait for him to do it.

You can't handle not being in control can you? I feel bad for any girl you date. Just because you sent someone some free frogs to make up for a mistake doesn't mean your off the hook for all your other debts. You will remain a bad guy in many people's eyes till you repay ALL of your debts.

Mike, you have a terrible reputation with a lot of people. If you make sincere changes, some people will ultimately trust you again, others never will. But if you continue to act in the same way, what people think of you will never change.

Alienating people, being immature and obnoxious, and acting arrogant is BAD BUSINESS. So you can think you're some important wholesaler or something, but it's just stupid to be bad at business when you're trying to run a business.
