I know he is popping in and out to read this thread. So what I say, I say to get under his skin. I just want to infuriate him.

You spoke for me, as well. I could care less what his sexuality is, or what color, size, or religion he is...or anything else for that matter. He's a thief and a liar, that, I do care about, particularly when I was drawn right into the middle of it, more than once.

Now, I'm pretty sure that if I did to someone else what Mike Shoemaker has done to many people, they would have one heck of a good time using anything they could for the specific purpose of cracking jokes about me.

I'm not saying it's right...just that it does help to ease the tension when wronged by someone.

Come on, people... I'm not trying to take away from the seriousness of the topic of this thread or the wrongs committed by Mike Shoemaker! I simply feel that discriminatory comments about people's gender, religion, race, sexual preference, and age have very little to do with the topic at hand.

I think, and I do not expect that others need to act in accordance with my beliefs in order to have validity. I have no problem with the fact that others think and believe differently than myself. You don't seem to be aware that the term "politically correct" is viewed as a negative one by the great majority of people in the U.S. I believe that you have every right to your viewpoints but so does everyone else. I would never attempt to undermine anybodys 1st amendment rights.

mikey is a target. As a target whatever gets him is ammunition.

If someone came on here degrading someone who was not a proven scumbag because they liked playing buttdarts with human targets there would be a whole BUNCH of us chiming in.

That is not the case here. mikey is bad. Very very bad. While calling him names may not be politically correct it does serve the purpose of hurting him. That is the entire point. He's getting back some of what he dished out. He's been weighed and measured and this is what those engaged think he deserves. Those who don't like it are free to not participate and even to register how they feel about it. Anyone making fun of them for THAT would be out of line.

There is little that could happen to mikey that would cause anyone I know who knows him to feel sorry for him. He has done this TO himself BY himself.

In this case it is more apt than most to say that one reaps what one sows.

He deserves it Marcia. I doubt you'd see Chuck or myself saying the same thing to someone else unless they were every bit as bad as mikey.

I don't think she was blowing it out of proportion at all...it was well beyond a little fun, and the scope of your "fun" reflected on more than just Mike. That nonsense was deemed unacceptable in other threads, and other "targets", so why would it be appropriate in this case?

Did i even say it was appropriate. Im not trying to stir any trouble. The guy is a scum bag. And it was harmless no shoemaker was harmed in the posting of those threads. I did not intend to offend anyone. i just don't believe it needs to be called something its not. Like wes stated people do not have to read it.

As for myself, I was just trying to point out what I viewed as the hypocrisy of "I can have my bias, but you are not allowed yours because I have the moral high road and only I am allowed to define the moral high road." I only could see the pot calling the kettle black with the adjectives and nouns used and the motives that were ascribed when a " Hey guys, name calling isn't really necessary" would have sufficed. I in no way endorse the sentiments that were offered by anyone other than myself and I am not seeking to exacerbate this situation, but hopefully have clarified the thoughts behind my posts.
