Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Today I finished a deal with Mike Wilson, a cage builder and breeder here in St Pete, FL. I came to Mike with some vague and tricky ideas for a breeding system, expecting that what I wanted wouldn't be possible or would cost a great deal, but for much less than I expected he built me a cage that was more than I had hoped for (I won't say exactly what the cost was for me, because it varies with the materials used, cost of materials at time of purchase, whether or not he paints/lacquers it, etc. and I don't want anyone to go to him and be angry if he can't offer the same price, but trust me, it was extremely reasonable.) The system is one piece, three 2'X2'X2'cages with sliding doors, removable dividers for cool-down and separation periods, and mounted fluorescent lighting. It is all very smooth and professional-looking, and sturdy as a rock. I expect to use it for years, and am looking forward to his building my next set of cages. He also builds breeding racks, cupboards for the cages, display tanks, and probably whatever else you could ask for. Though I don't know his new number, his cell is (727)642-6912. He also breeds boas, balls, uros, and feeder rats, but you'd have to ask him about availability.

We agree Jonathan. Charlotte and I have know Mike for over a decade now and are glad to call him a friend. He has built custom 45 degee cabinet fronts to hide a particularly distracting hot water heater in our primary snake room, co-designed and built our rodent breeding racks and breeds some top-notch animals himself. In addition, when we moved our entire facility in May, he was at our place at the crack of dawn to help load and arrange over 300 animals and then help transport incubating python eggs and unload before the heat caused any losses.

If anyone is considering custom enclosure fabrication or purchasing animals from Mike, we wholeheartedly recommend him and will be glad to provide other references if needed.
