• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Hi, today I acquired an albino Nelsons milksnake, she is a very pretty snake, but I am new to colubrids. She is approx. 2-3 ft long, and being housed in a 10 gallon (I plan on getting a larger one or custom building one this week). She has been housed with not heat (UTH or light). I plan on doing what I can to get her in a proper set up...any suggestions?
 
It really depends on your housing situation, little kids and what not I would definitely go with the under tank. They both work well but when I can if my snakes are not in racks then I set them up in tanks with over head heating. And again how much room you can afford to give to your snake will determine the size of tank. 20L will be more then enough for that girl, 10G is actually fine also, some breeders keep them in smaller. And if you are going heavy feeding then over head is going to be the best. But I do not consider myself an expert so any other input from some of these other guys on here would do you well.

Just curious as to why you suggest overhead heat vs belly heat for a heavy feeder? (and I am not trying to stir up anything, just curious, that's all)
