In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Was taking some cell phone pics, of this gal, and decided I would share some here.

Alita is a Normal het Anery type 2.
May not be a morph but I find her beautiful.
Love Alita's darkness, pattern, and pink belly.
In person, her browns (mixed within the black, grey, etc.) are not as noticeable as they are in pics.
She is also a sweetheart.

One unique thing, about Alita, is that she is rather small.
At 7 yrs. old, she is only approx. 3 1/2 ft. long (more or less) and a bit more slender than my others.
My other Nics, though a smaller boa species, make her look like a dwarf (especially the T+ female from Kahl stock).
Have had her, since she was a hatchling, and never has she gone without food. Though she did go on a self imposed, 2 month, fasting period once in her lifetime (yrs. ago).
She is quite the "enthusiastic" feeder too.
Alita has simply remained a small package of a great snake.

She is tiny, have you decided whether you'll breed her or not? Could be interesting to see if she passes on her size or not.

Mostly breed other species but have been thinking about breeding her (& my others) and really may do so.
Although, don't know if I want to use a male, that I have, or look to purchase just the right Anery type 2 (or het) male for her... if I find one. LoL

Awesome that she still maintains that size, amazing healthy girl.
Is she a "musker" lol looking at the gloves lol.

No, Alita is a real sweetheart. No musking, no biting, etc.
I do love that she maintains her smaller size.:)

I often wear gloves during cleaning (changing gloves between snakes, etc.) with periodic hand washing, as well, between glove changes (despite the wearing of gloves).

If I don't happen to wear gloves, I wash my hands, very well, between handling of each/every different snake (actually, after handling any reptile ... even if the only one for the day).
If simply handling (no cleaning), I do have a preference for no gloves.

It is for sanitation reasons as well as limiting the chance of cross contamination (even if/when critters are apparently healthy).

I have over 100 snakes, over 20 geckos, etc.... and am an unwitting supporter of paper towel, glove, soap, & hand lotion companies. LoL

Oh, almost forgot, I also wear gloves when cleaning rodent enclosures.;)
