In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Misrepresentation?

I would ship it back and ask for a refund. Seriously.

A) If it's a neurological defect, it was misrepresented, and you don't want it.
B) If it's IBD, the snake is contagious and is going to die, and you don't want it.

Either way, you don't want it, it has a problem you weren't informed of--send it back, get a refund.

It's not a spider.

I didn't really think it was a Spider, but I was shocked as anything to see a Woma behave like that. It is no where near my stock. I would not ship it back though the FedEx route and risk contaminating someone else's stock. I will cull it more than likely.

Unless she can provide some documentation that this is NOT IBD.

I posted over in the BOI..let's take it there before we get in trouble.

You don't have to ask. You should ask, if it's a spider, because frankly, the default for a spider is 'of course it does'. But no other ball python should show neurological signs.

If someone ships you a ball python with neurological signs, that is no different from shipping you one with mites, with one eye, with a kink, or any other defect or illness.

I have heard it rumored that womas carry wobbles as well...now womas are not yet as popular as spiders used to be...so if the woma gene does have the chance of having a wobble it may not be as well known yet

considering how close the genetic patterns are from woma to spider, it would not be shocking to think that that the genetic codeing could be pretty close, and have a chance of creating the same issues as a spider. Womas where not as deeply inbreed as the original spiders, so the chance is most likely alot less common.

I have a male woma...his behavior is no where near what your video shows, Deb, but he does act a little goofier then most of my other snakes

then again...my ghost acts stupid sometimes too lol

I don't mind a snake that may be lacking a few IQ points....but that wobble in your video would be way to much for me to deal with.

Thank you. I am a mess..just cleaning all the time trying to make sure nothing gets past me, because of my own paranoid fears.

I do believe that sellers are obligated to disclose any issues with a snake before selling.

However, I know that we are also told to RESEARCH before buying. If the Woma gene is also known for having wobbles, then it's (IMO) just a Spider that doesn't have the genetic high white sides!:ack2:

To tell the truth this is the first time I have heard of wobbles in Womas

*That is how I felt, but I didn't want to be tooooo negative!

If it's a spider, I'd assume it has a wobble (mine doesn't have much of one though)...but I'd ask how extreme it is.
Otherwise, it's not like it's a known or desired trait.
And inbreeding shouldn't affect co-doms at all, since you can outcross every generation and get visual morphs.

hit it too soon: I mean to say :it's not a known or desired trait one would assume present. It's like saying I should ask if the snake is alive before it's shipped....

How does the animal get around in it's enclosure? I mean, is this strange behavior only when it is suspended in the air? Or does it crawl sideways or corkscrew when it is in it's enclosure?

It would lay in odd positions and star-gaze. Once, I even thought it was dead; it was lying in the bowl of water with it's head upside down.

There's deff more than a slight wobble from what I can see if the Video and the Bp should have been able to climb right back up your arm with ease...

Id BOI it I mean if the defect is more than what appears to be normal the buyer should be made aware of the conditions. Plain and simple.
