    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I never said i had no knowledge i just stated i am not a expert or a big shot player craigh that does not mean i do not no nothing at all because i do know things about snakes but when it comes to them lizards and all your correct i know very little on those probally a teenager knows more about lizards then me lol but snakes i do know about and know how to take care of them and good husbandry i know that but i am not a genius at snake nor am i a expert and i do not go and tell people you have to do it this way or that way if someone asks me things i just tell them how i do but go look it up for self before practicing anything i do in case i maybe wrong on something you know what i mean i try to keep the things i do responsiable because i love these snakes more than anyone will know and i do not want them hurt or dead or sick but craigh all because i do not profess everything i know on here does not mean i know nothing but again i am not a expert i am not a professor on this subject there is something i do not know and somethings i do know just like everyone here noone knows it all and thats just the sad plain ole truth noone knows every little thing to this hobby if they did they would be a very bored person because the learning would stop if everyone knew everything i am no expert nor a big shot player in the breeding game i am a small time person starting small and probally going to keep it that way

How about this? Let me come to your "rescue". I am law enforcement and will have credentials to prove it. Let me bring a camera. You should have some recent mail proving the address is yours (DMV, elctricity, water bills etc.). Show any correspondence relating to obtaining your non-profit status. Show the VA Dept. of Game and Inland Fisheries permit "to propogate and sell certain wildlife in Virginia" that is predated to this post. You should know what I am talking about.

This is my first post on this thread. I will come totally unbiased and will post pics etc. on this thread. I live only 40 minutes from you.

Mr. Ralph Mills i seen that a new person had posted as i am heading out the door here i was not going to come back on here to post anything but i figured since you wrote to me i figured i would say hello to let you know if you would like to come take some pictures thats fine but we have decided not to do a rescue because it is just way to much to deal with and we did not know the ropes when we first started out but we do now and we decided we would let other people run there rescues there is plenty of decent ones here in virginia for people to go to it is not like it is a shortage of rescues so it is not like we are hurting nothing by not running it we just want no part of a rescue we are not taking va wildlife and selling it we have not sold nothing yet and are not even ready for buisness right now as it stands today we are just reptile owners and nothing more but we do have the plan in mind and are working towards a project i know what your talking about the permit but we are not taking in wildlife nor are we selling native va wildlife we have no plan on doing so the only thing we might do is do some field herping and film what we see but we are not taking it or selling it but your more than welcome to come over sometime if you chose to i do not see no harm in that

Yes Mike you do need to step away. Just when people are trying to believe in your good faith effort to improve you make posts insinuating that you have at least some base knowledge while at the same time mentioning Nicks good care. He shares that good care info in his videos and when people who really know what they are doing look at those vids he is shown to know little or nothing.

Then to top it off you post this while still maintaining this site http://www.joannsreptilerescue.org/index.html . Now look at it objectively, how can anyone believe you?

I honestly believe that the only learning you are doing, or trying to do, is what mistakes not to make in regard to getting caught by your own dishonesty.

Now you'll do what take down that site again for a few hours or days? Not gonna cut it guy.
 
Hi Mr Dove when i was talking about his care i was not talking about him on camera and him givin that info out i was stating that what i saw in person of his and how they were being treated thats what i was talking about not that i was saying that everything he said in videos was good i am not saying nothing about those vids at all i was stating from what i seen i mean he must of did a whole turn around by the time i met him and seen his snakes from when he was saying things on videos i dunno but the site will be removed i can assure you of that one for good
 
And i just got off the phone with the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries and i did more research on the matter of breeding boas and ball pythons and also found out the laws 100% instead of reading them i talked to the real deal people and heard it from there mouths i talked with 3 different people from there and there is no permits for breeding non native snakes in va the only thing that is a law against is you can not breed captive wildlife and sell them nomatter what it is either being a snake or turtle or bird you just can not do it and i have no intentions on doing that and niether does nick we never have so there we are covered there i also contacted the usda vet dept and the 2 people i spoke to there assured me there is no permits required for breeding and selling boas or ball pythons which are the ones we had in mind when we actually do it there is also no federal regualtion to it either and that is coming from the USDA themselves i think they know there laws and i am satisfied with what the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries and USDA had to say because everything i had planned is ok with them and within the law standards and the venmous law for va is that you must have escape proof cages period there is no exception to that rule they got so pretty much i am satisifed with everything and thanks to alot of you i found the proper ways of doing things and the real laws not some internet reading crap i found the real people and talked to them about the laws and so on and was assured that we are not breaking any period thank you all again who has showed me the ways and got me more motivated in this project then ever before thank you again and for all you the RESCUE IS CLOSED THERE IS NOMORE RESCUE SO STOP HARPING ON IT it is a dead issue i am not nick is not and my wife is not rescuing no snakes or any other type of animals period we are leaving that up for the people who want to do that work we just want to do our hobby and be happy so with that said good luck out there have a great one and be safe always
 
SO OUR LAWYER WAS STRAIGHT UP ABOUT THE LAWS AND FEDERAL GUIDE LINES AND REGUALTIONS I AM SO GLAD HE KNEW WHAT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT AND THE LOCAL COUNTY AND ANIMAL CONTROL KNEW THERE STUFF 100% I AM IMPRESSED BECAUSE I HEARD ALOT OF PEOPLE SAY LOCAL ANIMAL CONTROL PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW THE LAWS THAT WELL BUT MINE DID BUT I HAD TO MAKE THEM CALLS TODAY JUST TO BE 100% SURE AGAIN
 
yes i do see that and at the time i did not know there was anything wrong it but i do see that now and i am sorry for the actions and mislead info yall had it will not happen again i will assure you of that one because i am going to double check every move i make even triple check my moves before going forth with anything at all in this hobby thank you again and i would love to talk with you on about lizards sometime because i am interested in what you know about them and maybe you can give me some pointers on savs because my wife is wanting one badly and i can not say no to her or she will kick my rear end so all the help about lizards or monitors would be great
 
Tame and stressed out are way to different things.. A totally stressed out Sav will act the way the one looks in Nicks vids. If you need any info the monitor forums here or other information sites like RZ could point you in the right direction... There you will learn Nicks care is horrible ...
 
See Mike when you are breeding snakes, you are selling to one of two markets.

Pet Stores or the High End Market

Pet Stores as a rule don't give crap as long as it has a heartbeat, and looks like the animal on the price sign.

The High End Market, is a bit trickier you have to keep records on every snake, feed shed. You must also be able to guarantee genetics. If you sell a 100% het for albino boa and the customer breeds it to an albino boa and 75% of the clutch comes out Normal, your nuts are in a vice my friend.

I suggest you make a choice at which one you are going for, and stay on the course.
