    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Both of these are from a mojave x blonde pastel pairing.
Mojave first....
When I posted hatching and post shed pics of this guy, there were a few people that thought he was a pastave. The first two pics are in an unlit room with flash, the second two were near a window with no flash (no artificial light, either).
I don't think any of them really misrepresent his appearance; but the flash eliminated shadow, allowing for clearer images.
I do like that he doesn't quite have the typical mojave look, and that the dark portion of his pattern is reduced. Steve (SPJ) dubbed him a smokin mojave - I think it fits.

and this is his pastave sibling...
Pictures were taken in exactly the same places as the ones above; first two with flash, second two without.

When you see them side by side the difference is enough to make me think that the first guy is a mojave, and probably the best I've ever seen! :D

Gorgeous snakes!

That middle row of spots (on the pastave) just irritates me no end, Deborah...
I could pretty much deal with the one's on the sides, but that extra set sucks. I've even tried scrubbing them off with a toothbrush, to no avail.

If it were a female, I would take it from your sight to spare you further irritation.:rofl:

Truely, I do think (imo) that the patterns are their individuality like a fingerprint. Yours certainly won't be mistaken for any other if it were ever to be sold or stolen. It's quite individual with those "8s" on its back.

Perhaps you could name him after the character in Pirates of the Carribean (pieces of 8).:rofl:
