Just wanted to give a little info on this girl. She's an early 2006 that I bought as a hatchling. She had been a monster eater for the first 2 years and was up to size by her second year. She was young but she was in the 1300 g range so I bred her to another mojo in hopes of producing my pinacle (at the time) the bel.......no eggs 2008, same for 2009, and 2010. I bought a mystic this past February for some other girls here, but I still hadn't given up on her. I introduced him to her and witnessed a lock the first day! She has been glowing like kryptonite for the past few weeks. She started getting that preovulation swell yesterday and I can't be more excited. She's 2805 grams now so cross your fingers for me and don't ever give up on those stubborn girls!:D Chris Hall

Whos man u might get 9eggs with 7 of them being potions, making for lost time lol i hope that happens for u good luck u deserve it for sticking in there.

Question, has your male mojave produced for you from another female? Sounds like he might be a dud. Sometimes its not always the female not taking.

Thanks for the replies. The male mojo she locked with the last few years was a stud. He's fatherd several clutches for me so it was just her being stubborn. I sold him after I bought the mystic and held back one of his pastave sons for backup. He was an awesome looking mojo. Hated to sell him, but I filled his rack space the next day. :) Chris

That's good! Maybe she just didn't like his swagger or lil swimmers. :rofl:

This girl was building in the pics I posted, but she is still swollen! I think she's in full ovulation now, but it has been 2 weeks. Is this very common to have such a long building and ovulation period?
