Responding to email notices you receive.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I won't be doing anything with him.
I have not delt with him yet but did inquire on his ETB he had for sale. Asked if it was still avail. and if he maybe interested in a trade. I would have purchased it regardless. This is the e-mail I received.......

I personally will never do buis. with this person. A simple no thanks or it's sold would have been enouph. If you notice the e-mail date that was from today.

That's exactly what I thought with the BOI on the same website why would you act like that. I was going to leave it be until I saw the inquiry on him. I thought if his buis. ethics are anything like his attitude maybe I could help someone save themselves a headache.
Chalk it up to imaturity I guess. I don'y know simon real well, but did a trade with him 5 mo's or so ago. It worked out fine, but didn't involve much. He is a young guy, so maybe when people don't respond to his ads after reading this thread, maybe he'll learn. Definately not a good reputation t get tagged with.

I have dealt with simon many times over the years and have had good dealings,I got a mangrove monitor from him that was an exellent animal. He was very professional when I delt with him. we have had phone conversations that were always pleasent.
I dont agree with his response to this gentlemans offer and think it was definatly a rude response. I just wanted to tell people about my good experiences but ,again,I do not agree with this attitude. Most people whe are into herps also have a fascination for fossils and bones. I would personally be interested in seeing what was offered. thanks for listening to me blab.

I guess you could call it the actions of someone being imature and lacking experience, but still doesn't justify his response by email to a potential customer........that was just plain stupid!
The guy hasn't done any bad deals, so he deserves credit.
Just needs to clean up his customer service responses.
