In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Monkey Tailed Skinks pair, bred and born in my home, under 10 years old. Female may be gravid. When they were introduced about 4 months ago, the male mounted the female and hung on for a long time. The male has some scrapes from males in his previous group. He has all his fingers and toes. They don’t bite but the lady is timid.

$1800. Plus shipping

They are both under 10 years old, born in my home after I moved to Tennessee 11 years ago. They are from different colonies. I am downsizing my collection. The male is comfortable being handled, the lady is timid, so I leave her alone. She is definitely getting wider. They eat every night.

Do you have specific questions?

Yes!

What are they currently feeding on?

What’s your schedule for supplements/vitamins?

What size enclosure are they in?

I’ve been wanting some for a long time. I’m a zookeeper and wildlife educator in central New York and would love one as an ambassador animal. But I’m also hoping to breed a small number for myself

Are these the only ones you have available?

They are in a 18”x 30”x 5’ enclosure.

I have been caring for Corucia for almost 30 years. My colonies reside in 30” x40” x 6’ cages.

They are fed daily, a mixture of chopped greens, including kale, collard, mustard, turnip, green leaf, and probably others, mixed with something sweet including peeled chopped kiwi, peeled chopped banana and peeled shredded apple, or peeled chopped mango, peeled chopped banana and peeled shredded apple or peeled shredded cooked yam. I also add steamed corn or steamed chopped green beans. They Love fresh figs (planted bushes in my yard). I add water to each dish and mix well. They are not fans of papaya.

They usually get vitamins. I alternate multi one day, Ca with vit D the next.

When in season, I garnish the food with mulberry leaves from my garden. They love being hand fed mulberry leaves.

They also enjoy having pothos plants to eat.

Do you work at the Seneca Zoo?

Susan

Great. Thank you! We were thinking 4x2x2 or around there. Until we can put them outside periodically in the summer,

How big are your colonies?

I don’t work at Seneca park, but I did grow up in Rochester, so that’s my hometown/childhood zoo. I’m at The Wild Animal Park in Chittenango New York.

I’m definitely most interested in this pair since the male is at least tame. I know you said these were born in your home, do you have birth dates?

I received a deposit on this pair, so they are sold. I hope to create more pairs for sale. I am creating these pairs from 3 colonies, each containing 8-9 skinks. I don’t keep records, so I can’t give you exact birth dates. The ones I am selling are all under 10 years old. I would suggest a cage larger than 4x2x2. If you send me your email address we can correspond privately.

No worries!

I would definitely be interested in an upcoming pair. I’d like to stay at, or closer to the $1,500 price if possible. At least one being handleable is a need for education programs. Thank you

My email is [email protected]

They are sold. I have 2 other pairs for sale that I haven’t posted because I am reluctant to ship at this time of the year.
