    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I purchased a female from monsterdragons.com in the beginning of January this year and paid for her through my Paypal account. The owner, Hollan Hoffer acknowledged my payment through email and told me he would ship her out the next day. I never received my dragon and never hear from him again for weeks. I made countless phone calls, left messages and nothing. He finally sent me an email explaining that he had a relative that had passed away out of state and he'd be shipping her out that Wednesday. I was relieved and waited for her the next day. Again, nothing. He disapeared again and I made a claim with Paypal. Paypal managed to get me a refund for 0.05 cents and since then I have no answers and no dragon. Can ANYONE help me in this situation! I'd appreciate it!

Sorry to hear that Mario,, can you post any info on him you have and hopefully we can help you out... Have you filed a claim with paypal yet??? Might want to talk to your bank and or CC company as well... Randy
 
I ask myself why!

Beardeds are the easiet herp to get without having to mail order 1. But more importantly, why did you wait weeks to notify paypal. You should have been on the phone requesting a refund immediately.

If an agreement is broken between the buyer and the seller, and you see that no attempt is made to contact you then get your money back as quickly as possible and move on.

How many weeks did you wait before you woke up?
 
The only reason I could see for the Seller to delay shipping may have been weather. But since that wasn't the excuse used and it was WEEKS later I'd say you should file a claim with your CC, since it's obvious PayPal isn't going to be able to help you. Good Luck!
 
I gave him time because I had bought a female from him before without any problems until now. I have his contact info already also. I've called him many many times.
thanks guys for your input, but I think this is a lost cause.
