    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I got a translucent male a few month back and he is bigger now and so colorful. His color keeps getting brighter. Most trans that I have seen fade as they grow. Not him I will post pics soon he is super cute. I have not seen another dragon like him I have to post pics I can't explain his coloring you just have to see it.

Mark from Moonstone Dragons is awesome!! He does really have nice dragons and he takes care of them really well. He has given me a lot of information and helped me with breeding also. :)
 
Mark is one of the good guys in the business. Really cares about the dragons he breeds and is very on top of biosecurity and genetics. Too bad he had to get permanently banned from here. I dont think a permanent ban was warranted especially considering some of the garbage I read on here that seems to get overlooked. Hopefully that decision will be reconsidered.

One of my moderators apparently took offense at that quip, and I can't really say I blame him. I take offense at it as well, as did some other members here....

I agree it was a Blatent Slap in Richs and the mods who have put a lot of payless hours building a Dream they Love! Its about more than Money its about Buiding a Respectfull Legacy to live on for all of us and our future kids to Enjoy! just my opinoin sorry Boss!
 
I completely understand, but I feel like Mark (moonstone dragons) really just chose some bad wording. I think he meant to say that he tries to stay out of debating and picking sides in BOI threads when he doesn't know the people because he doesn't want to get involved unless he can contribute any information. He saw David Freeman's thread and decided that he needed to help him out because they're friends and have done a lot of business together. I really believe that Mark is a good guy and that he means well, he didn't really mean to offend anyone. He has a very respectable business and he is definitely a guy you can buy from with confidence. I don't know anyone that has bought a dragon from him that hasn't been happy. I was just thinking it would be a temporary ban, because like David said above, we have all seen people get banned for much worse. I hate to see him gone from the site, but I understand that he offended some people, especially the mods.

I don't know what you mena by people being banned for much worse. Some people get banned for bad behavior, profanity, name calling, and other things that can add infraction points. What Moonstone did was completely uncalled for and a total disrespect to this site, the site owner, the site management, and the members of the Fauna community. As far as I'm concerned after his remarks, he belongs on the outside looking in. If I was Rich, I would never let him back in. You know what is funny, here is a guy who said the most horrible things about this site, and yet someone starts a good guy post about him on the BOI. Hey, maybe he is a good guy, but you know what, he can go and be a good guy somewhere else.

I've banned people before for crapping on the carpet in my house, and this one is certainly no different.

I posted a good guy thread not only on moonstone but also diamon den ,bloodbank and a couple others. I did not know about the ban or the boi until recently. I am some what new to fauna. Also I think mark is a great breeder and the funny thing is that We my aunt and I got a dragon off craigslist that came from moonstone so we went on moonstones site and we contacted him. Mark told us all his gentetics and also about fauna. We would have never known about fauna if it wasnt for him. He had babies posted here (the trany I got) and he told us it was a GOOD PLACE TO FIND BEARDED DRAGONS. So I understand that that comment was not the best thing to say. But maybe it was not meant the way it sounded. All I know is that he is a very helpful person and I think him being banned from here will make alot of people miss out on some good dragons. I am sure if he had another chance he would follow the rules. And the most important thing is for people to get good quality healthy dragons. Thats just how I feel and it was nice that someone was will to share fauna with us. New people dont know about it and he helped us find it. And we have purchased 15 dragons off of fauna.
 
Also I thought this was a good guy thread. Now I feel bad because I didnt mean to post something that could harm his reputation. I don`t want any new people ready this and thinking things that are not true. He was so helpful to use when we called him about the dragon we got from craigslist. And we would not have known about this site if it wasn`t for him. My Aunt got a beautiful dragon and so did I. I just wanted to thank these great breeders not cause them any problems. I have gotten some dragons who`s color faded with every shed and that looked nothing like the pictures when we got them and I didnt post anything bad about those breeders. (I would never do that unless it was really bad and harmful to an animal) But I do feel that if someone does right by you that you should let people know. So I stand by what I said. I love my trany and Mark is a very great helpful breeder.
 
Dont sweat it as this post will not harm his reputation since his business should be based on his business transactions. This is what the BOI is for to alert people to good ethical breeders to buy from and the ones to stay away from.
I agree Moonstone is a great place to buy dragons and get some top notch genetics.
 
:thumbsup:Melissa just called me and told me about this so I have to put my 2 cents worth in. I bought the dragon she is talking about from a guy on Craigs list. He had the dragon for about 2 months and was going off to college and his parents wouldn't keep it. He gave me all his paper work with it. So we had questions so we contacted Moonstone, not knowing what to expect, because we had not gotten the dragon from them. Mark could have told me he didn't sell me the dragon and to go away, but he didn't!!! He was very friendly and helpful, he answered all of our question and told us we could contact him if we need any help with my new dragon. I was very impressed.
Now I see this and I must say I am very confused about it. I know I am new on Fauna so maybe I don't understand all the in's and out's of how things work here, BUT REALLY!! I thought the BOI was a place where we could post our opinions?? I have seen people on here , who are not even part of the transaction being talked about, use some of the filthiest language I have ever heard, call other people dirty names, and insult them for no reason. Do you think they took OFFENSE??? I'm sure they did, because I took OFFENSE just reading it, Yet they were not banned and 1 guy is on almost ever thread I have read cursing at people.

So the lesson I'm learning here is what?? It's ok to be offensive as long as you pick and choose who you offend. So how do I know is there a list some where?? Is it the Sponsors? Is that the list, are they the ones I have to tip toe around?
I find it offensive that my niece put a good guy thread on here about A GOOD GUY who sold her a beautiful, healthy dragons that she loves and some one else jumped right in on the very 1st page to to spoil that for her and make her feel as though she might have done something to hurt her GOOD GUYS reputation. Shame on you. Missy you did NOTHING to hurt Mark's reputation and no one else on here can either!!!
 
He's beautiful Brenda :) I'm already on the waiting list to get a nice hypo trans leather from him in a couple months, so it makes me excited to see your lovely dragon.
 
Well thank you. We do love him. We named him Popeye. I am the one who bought but my husband keeps telling me Popeye is his. lol We have an Olive Oyl for him but she is not old enough for them to meet just yet.

That's an easy one. You don't slap around the guy who owns the joint, nor belittle his handiwork. Not if you still want to hang around there, as the moderators will likely take offense at such rudeness and toss their rump out the door. Case and point here..... :rolleyes:
 
I am happy to hear that I didn`t hurt his rep. I would hate for anyone to think badly of him after he helped us so much and made sure I got an awsome baby. That is a cell phone pic he really is even brighter in person. Just look at popoye they have the same mom. I dont understand why one small comment would get you kicked off of here. I have read things on the boi of crazy soap opera break ups and people just being plaine mean to each other. Why are they still on here. And they clearly rip people off and use Fauna Classifieds to do it. How is this fair. I mean isnt that giving Fauna a bad name because to me they are scammers. You cant lie and tell someone a dragon was sick or dead and then get you money back and sell the dragons later. Or sell people fake rankins get the dragons back and give no refund. I mean why do they get to stay? Do they pay alot of money for advertising or something? I don`t really understand how this works? I just can`t believe some of the people who basically steal and lie can stay on here and continue to basically rob people. I know how it feels to have someone photo shop pics and be all excited to pull out an orange lizzard and then you pull out one that is brown. It really bothers me that Moonstone is banned. I mean he never said he hated Fauna and I think alot of people find it rediculous that people can break up , lie , photo shop pic and not give refunds after getting the dragons back can stay on here. Please let Moonstone back on here. He really is a good guy.
