Morphs?

Interesting thread. I'll start by saying I really don't know which way to go here. It seems to me that if you take the picture perfect blizzard and put it or its photo next to a leucistic ball pythons, theyre both white, and they both have dark eyes, then one would assume that would the blizzard not be leucisitic? To me leucistic meant stark bone white cut and dry. Again, the ball python comes to mind. The prime example of leucism. However if the blizzard is not leucistic and the possibilities of other colors coming into play is there then perhpas blizzards can be crossed with more than albinos to achieve new designer morphs. I know that if it turns out that way the first thing I'm doing is gettin a nice red stripe adna blizzard and lettin em loose.

They have been.....

Patternless crossed with blizzards resulted in banana blizzards

There have been a couple of blizzards with carroting in the tail from carrottail crosses and now there will be snow blizzard crosses....

Gregg, now you've got me completely confused. :)

I have not seen a blizzard with corrot tail. I know someone that's been trying to get carrot tail into his blizzards, and is only able to get a little yellow into the body. Now I have seen many a patternless with carrot tail and a lot of yellow in the body. So I have always thought that a blizzard would be the one that is leucistic.

with luecistic animals it is not uncommon for part of the body to express normal or some pigment. these are refered to as pie balds or pied as anyone who knows anything about ball pythons is already familiar with. some instances blizzards have been known to have a few spots.

a bone white animal is not the definition of a leucistic animal. im pretty sure they're is already a clear definition of leucisim on this thread but in laymans terms its when the skin has a defect and is unable to express pigment.
