    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Movement of thread concerning Dan Quinn- Manhattan Herps

I had a feeling that we'd be ignored. We haven't heard a thing from him in quite some time.
 
Erik, that's not a new ad. It was posted Nov 20th, 2005.... it says at the top.

But anyway, if I was Dan..... (in this situation with all of these people knowing) I would consider the following options 1. Simply ask Ryan for a payment plan, Ryan seems very patient and very understanding. 2. Sell some breeders and give whatever money I have to Ryan, or 3. Simply offer Ryan some of my breeders . Regardless, the point is that Dan OWES Ryan for his time and labor. It must be resolved or Dan Quinn wont be able to have success in the reptile business.

I can't believe you guys are still being ignored. I would have thought that by now something would have been resolved. This isn't going to go away. The longer it continues the worse Dan looks. I hope it gets resolved soon!

Yup, you guys are definately being ignored. Just yesterday Dan left me negative Karma and stated the following:

"i will pray that the might lord god has mercy on your soul, come judgement day, good luck in whatevery you and yoru fellow fence-riders decide, as you all have no effect one me whatsoever, only god can judge me, and so far, he has done magnificently"

Apparently, Dan worships a God different then mine. I never knew there was a God who honored deceipt, thievery and lying........

I really wanted him to make things right, but I doubt that will ever happen. With that being said, he's on the do not sell/buy list. Sad....to think it could have been avoided if he just gave up a few geckos.

Well, now the only thing to do is keep this at the top of the page.

All done straight-faced, while he smites Griz by taking a few karma points away! I don't know how many "fence-riders" Dan thought were still left out there, but there are likely less now. And when it is only Dan and "God" left on his side of the fence, I would suggest Dan give "God" a real good look to be sure He is who he thinks He is. Might just be a different he. Surely just a Freudian slip Dan, but every time you referred to your God, you kept it in lower case letters (ie. "god" and "he") ........ maybe no accident, eh?

How DARE you, Dan? I agree with the fact that by referring to the Lord God in lower case letters shows not only your lack of reverence, but that you are most likely a false believer. That's not all you are!!!

I am no longer a "fence rider"... you have earned yourself a Bad Guy vote from me, and if you think it's OK to give me negative Karma for that, then I will report it to the moderators as abuse of the point system.

Nope, he gave me negative Karma points for a posting I made that had neither anything to do with Dan nor was it offensive or out of line. It is a clear case of Karma abuse. Keep in mind that this particular posting of mine received postive points from PaulSage and dragonflyreptiles. Here is my post from the thread ----> Negative Karma posting

I endured the EXACT same thing you are now going through. Frustrating? Yup, it sure is but it's also understandable. My mistake was calling someone an idiot. Your comment was a bit more, ahem.....direct, shall we say? Either way, the proverbial Fauna pot was starting to boil over and Rich had to do something to stop it. Trust me, lesson learned on this end and I am sure on yours as well.

How, exactly, can Dan vote for HIMSELF in the good guy poll? Also, Robin S. no longer has a way to change her vote (if she wanted) due to her banned status. Just thought I would point that out.
 
I would think that he would want to settle this before going to court. If this goes to court two things will hurt him, the amount of money will mean he could face some serious consequences if found guilty and the fact that he supposedly shipped a snake through UPS. I am assuming that the species was not written on the box, can anyone confirm this?

Well, I have removed my good "Good Guy" vote, but haven't (As of yet) given him a "Bad Guy" vote.

Dan, please do SOMETHING, make an effort at least to repay your debt. Don't do this to yourself. You have gotten yourself into a sticky situation, you need to take the first step, and call Ryan and set up a payment plan and stick to it.
 
Wow, when folks go down around here they do a very thorough job of it. I guess if you are going to trash your reputation you may as well leave no doubt.

Hopefully in a few years you can look back on this and see the error of your ways Dan. I know when I was 18 I sure looked at the world a lot different than I did at 25.
