    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I already have some ideas on how to move my boas across country in my truck since i have to drive. Looking for some ideas on how to do it best and keep my legless babies comfortable.

Put them all in pillow cases and load them in totes
Keep the sizes equal as possible etc.
Do not put small snakes on top of large ones,they will not stay on top.
Plenty of snakes found their way to the left coast after Katrina this way

Pretty much what Tom said. You won't have to worry about temps too much this time of year until you get about ½ way thru Texas. Then you'll probably need some AC for them until you get into Cali because we been 100+ all through this region lately.

thanks for the info, will they be good like that for a couple days since it going to take me 3-4 days to drive it. and wont the ac make it too cold for them in the truck. and what should i do with them at night when im at the hotel?

Just don't set the AC to where it's shooting icicles out the vents and they'll be OK. But you will need it for them during the day out here. It won't get cold enough at night out this way to worry about either. Just set their tubs on the floor in the room when you stop. Maybe bring a heat blanket just in case.

They should be good like that for the trip. I have a couple friends that moved theirs from Cali to GA over the road, and didn't hear about anything going wrong. Pretty much the same trip either way.
