So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

PS-I really don't what you think of my "reputation". I have only had problems with a few people and only after they have ripped me off or not fixed the problems.

Just because he has not replied that does not mean he is guilty of anything.
For all we know you could have made this all up some proof like a receipt or email would help you.

I agree, this thread has gone 9 pages without proof. You did not come here to prove anything or plead your case to Willy. What is the issue with showing proof of your accusations? If anything, it will help you.
 
It sounds to me like BOTH people involved are bad guys. Anybody who creates a venomoid (which is ILLEGAL by the way) deserves to be ripped off. Karma is wonderful isn't it?

I don't get on forums often; I spend most of my time taking care of and breeding my animals, as well as spending every moment possible in the field. I personally think these forums are often misused-as you can clearly see in the 9 pages of warrantless accusations by one person, who scores of other people seem to also have a problem with-WHY IS THAT DO YOU THINK? I have been breeding and selling reptiles for many years and I have found in this business there is always a screwball who thinks he can taint a good reputation WITH NO PROOF to these allegations whatsoever...First of all, dealing with Kevin has been totally fine, until he involved his"money man", Ken. He received the animals he PAID FOR and at a later date ordered more animals and then BACKED OUT of the deal. They then called me several times changing the order from timber rattlesnakes to eyelash vipers to banded egyptian cobras. Payment was received for half the animals and that's what I sent-WHAT THEY PAID FOR!!! I had both people, Ken and Kevin, calling me several times a day, to switch or alter their order. From what I understand, they killed several of the snakes I had sent them by neglect of care. I had NO IDEA ANY OF THESE ANIMALS WERE BEING USED FOR VENOMOID SURGERY-I PERSONALLY DO NOT BELIEVE IN IT! I will not answer the phone calls or reply to ridiculous accusations pertaining to this matter. And I have not changed my email or my business name for years-as it shows on my website. Yes I do post as Venom Central or MRBIGZSNAKES, anyone can look at my website and see that this is the full name of my business...MRBIGZSNAKES-VENOM CENTRAL. As for the pigmy rattlesnake, I inform ALL my customers the difficulty on caring for neonate "pigs'. Some people should not acquire animals that they are not qualified to care for. As far as shipping illegally,feel free to contact the Cleveland Delta Counter, as all boxes are inspected thoroughly upon shipment...as any "known" or "verified" shipper can tell you. A bit of advice-if you have venomous reptiles and are selling venomous reptiles, be aware of whom you are dealing with, there are too many inexperienced people jumping into the"hot hobby" and too many dealers selling and trying to make a quick buck, as I have witnessed first hand at many shows. As for the people that are questioning me...and my honesty, I really don't care-MY CUSTOMERS KNOW ME AND DEAL WITH ME REGULARLY WHETHER ON THE INTERNET OR AT THE SHOWS-I will not reply any further to this nonsense. Or waste anymore of the peoples time that use this board for the right reasons!
To sum this up to anyone thinking of acquiring an animal from me, I have a list of reputable references as long as a king cobra! Thank you for your time in reading my response to this matter.

Willy, I kind of figured there was something fishy about Kevins statements..... He somehow has problems with other hot dealers "ripping him off" as well..... Very well know ones too.... I would never take the word of a venomoid hacker against the word of a well known breeder and/or dealer of fully hot snakes...... Especially ones with a good track record like yourself..... Besides if anyone is shipping hot ilegaly Its the venomoid hacker....... I know I will never sell any of my CBB neonates to a void hack.....

You are going to come on here and lie and say you never got the money??? What did you not feel like talking on the phone and making threats like you normally do when you rip people off??? You got the money for all the animals, and you did send all of them EXCEPT FOR THE TIMBERS. You were called several times and never answered the phone after it was down to paying the cash back and not replacing it with other animals. YOU RECIEVED THE CASH and YOU REFUSED TO REFUND THE MONEY, or actually YOU JUST QUIT ANSWERING PHONECALLS AND EMAILS AFTER TELLING ME THE "MONEYORDER WAS ON ITS WAY" and IT NEVER SHOWED. I am going to ignore the venomoid thing because it had and HAS nothing to do with the fact that you ripped me off. Anyone who is going to say that I deserved to be ripped off is a piece of <font color=red>[**censored**]</font> just like you.
This situation is a prime example of How theives like you operate. First you start the business via email, then you urge people to call you on the phone so that there is no email proof of your lies, so you can later come on here later after you are called on being a thief, and say " I never did anything" and "Show me the emails" . Pretty sly I must say. For all the crap that is talked about me by you morons that will defend Willy(aka DICK), I may sell some snakes you don't approve of, but at least I am not a thief like him. I have yet to rip anyone off.
For anyone unfamiliar with Mr. Beard and his tactics of ripping people off, he usually will put off sending your money back, not answer your requests, and if he feels like a "real man" that day, he will threaten you saying "I am a big bad biker and I will send my buddies to your house" or something of the sort. I have heard several people mention this method that he uses, but I guess he didn't feel like coming at me like that, he decided he would rather be a cowardly thief and simply refuse to reply.
I really don't care about the handful of idiots that come on posts on here time after time just to start crap. Your opinions don't matter to anyone except the few that are mindless enough to fall for your B.S., you are the ones that are ruining the BOI and helping thieves rip people off.
As for Willy, you are simply a piece of crap thief, nothing less or more. You ripped me off, you know it, I know it, and that is really all that matters. That is the difference between you and honest sellers. Honest people don't have to steal and lie to make sales, but people like Willy and other thieves do for some reason. I hope the $600 was worth it, in the end you will keep ripping people off until there is no one that will fall for it, then you will be a broke thief without friends except other cowardly thieves like yourself.

Willy, you sold the pygmy to my friend as an established rodent eater. It is not. You shipped the animal in a styro not labeled venomous. venomous animals shipped via airlines must be in a wood crate and must be labeled venomous. You lied in your response and I will not be a called a liar by you. How about instead I turn to Delta airlines in Cleveland and have them deal with you? You not only did a stupid thing but you broke federal laws and risked the ability of ALL people everywhere to ship animals with Delta airlines. I sincerely doubt that anyone responding to this thread would give you permission to lose that service for all of us.
 
I forgot to mention that on top of the federal aviation safety guidelines you violated you also committed a Lacy act violation which carries up to a 2 year federal prison term.

Do any of you people responding to this thread think it was OK for Willy to ship the rattlesnake via Delta without a crate? Is he exempt from criticism because you are all teaming up against the other party posting? How is it that the comments that I have made are not upsetting you? You hate a guy so nothing he says can be true? How about it? How about if you could never legally ship another reptile? Would you stand up for Willy then?

I just recieved 2 obscene messages on my answering machine from Kevin and his buddy Ken, threatening me and my wife since my last post. Personally I think these guys are a joke, however I do have the phone calls recorded and if I receive any more I will definitely take legal action...I hit *69 and looked up the area code, it appears these characters live in California (illegal to keep venomous) and have a phony Oregan address so they can get snakes shipped to them just over the border. I am sure that anybody dealing with them should know this, besides the fact that they are venomoid hacks-which I just became aware of...For anybody who has a problem with me, I will be attending the Hamburg show in August-be a man and address your issues with me face-to-face.

You shipped the snakes to PDX you idiot, why in the hell would I drive up from California, which is a good 8 hours at least to the border, just to take snakes back?? If I am lying, why would I have mentioned several times earlier that the other snakes you sent to me were in excellent shape??? I even offered to fully apologize after the post if you took care of the money you owed. I did this BOI post as a last resort, if you look on all the websites, I posted for you to contact me and mentioned nothing of what was owed until you flat out refused to contact me. But you answered other emails sent to you from a different email address inquiring about other animals you posted for sale. I didn't call you and make any threats, if you would have hit *69, it would have been a oregon area code that showed up. I don't even have your phone number, look at the ad on venomous.org, I clearly requested your phone number or email address, so we could get this straightened out. As for you making legal accusations, I think from some of the other info shared on this thread, you should be worrying about your own legal problems, not mine. You are a thief plain and simple, you ripped me off for $600 for timbers that you never sent. You lied and told me that you sent out a moneyorder, which never showed. Then you even refused to make any contact except for the couple of times you had your idiot wife lying for you saying you weren't home, just because you were such a coward you didn't have the courage to answer up to the fact that you were ripping me off.

1) Show us proof that the pygmy was shipped through delta without a wood box......

2) The only people that should be buying snakes that are known to be tricky when it comes to feeding them rodents, are the ones that know what they are doing.... Not some inexperianced amuatures that just want cool pets....... Why should Willy refund your "friend" for his lack of knowledge???? I truely feel that some people that keep hot snakes now, should have stuck to garter snakes and leopard geckos.....

3) How long did you wait before you tried to force feed this little pygmy????

4) how long did it take you to try and contact Willy about the situation????

I guess I will add some of my experiences

Well, I still would like to believe that Willy is a good guy and the reason I purchased from him was because of his reputation. I will give a summary and won't go into detail (including e-mails, paypal receipts) unless I have to but here goes:

I sent him an e-mail on Dec. 16, 2003 for an ad he posted for 1.1 adult black timbers (I am assuming they were related to those Kevin ordered). He e-mailed me the next day (17th) that he has them and that same day, I sent him the money via PayPal. In fact all that occurred in about 4 hours from late 16th to early 17th.

He wanted to wait on shipping for Christmas and weather related incidents and that was fine with me. He was going to ship in early January but still too cold.

Well, nothing happens and on March 29, 2004 I send him another e-mail asking if it is warm enough there to ship. He says things are looking good and they can go out next week. There were a few phone conversations in-between that I don't recall exactly all that was said but the day he was to ship he didn't. I got a call from him saying that the female is really thin (he had told me the female was thin at time of purchase so that was fine with me). He said he didn't feel comfortable with shipping off an unhealthy snake (that was good to hear) so he would also send me one of the females from that litter instead of that adult female and that I can have the adult female if I wanted to try getting her healthy again. I said that is fine but I asked him to hold off shipping because I was going to be out of town that next week.

Well, again, there was no contact for a while and I got busy doing other things. On June 18th, I sent him another e-mail asking if he was ready to ship being very sincere with my lack effort in contacting him. I get no response.

But I hadn't seen him post anything online so I figured he was busy with other things. Fine, no problem. On July 14th, I see he posted some animals for sale on the other site and thinking maybe that he had changed e-mails, I e-mailed him through that ad he posted asking about the Timbers. No response. At first I thought maybe he was busy and not getting to his e-mail, etc. but apparently, he has been online and has been posting in this thread and says his e-mail hasn't changed (he posted here on 07-15-2004 06:10 PM and after)

All I want is to either have the snakes that I have paid for or to have my money back. I would much rather have the snakes. I am more than willing to retract my post and make an apology if all goes well but right now, I dunno what exactly to make of this situation.

I think that everyone that knows me and has had me buy from them knows that I am the most relaxed buyer. I don't expect people to have to ship to me that very next day and understand the delays with shipping/time/etc. But I do like to be kept in contact so that I know what's going on.
 
I heard all of those excuses and more....

That is basically what happened to me, the only difference was that he didn't say they were thin, he told me he couldn't get permits to ship them. The no contact thing went the same, the weather excuse was the same. I also would have rather had the timbers, but looks like he is just a thief and would have never sent them anyways.
