It is a mislabel by the original importer Jose from Two Amigos and Xtreme Reptiles....
they are off islands in El Salvador., they dont come out of honduras, they are wc, they do look identical to the hogg island, and for all we know they could be the smae thing yet from different islands, I do not think they believe in political barriers......hell they might have originated from elsalvador islands and then floated down in a hurricane to the hogg islands and are not even from there historically or by fossils!

From the best I can understand they came from El Salvador but "might" have floated to Honduras in a hurricane to a protected area?

If they are a mislabel why has he not corrected it??

If they are illegal imports he is selling/brokering/trading/keeping there is a problem.

Well, the "hasnt eating yet" isnt the biggest of my beefs. But, I felt it necessary to point out that it hasnt, since the seller was so sure they would be pounding the rats. I only feed f/t too, and I am worried that if it is infact a wild caught, it may be VERY hesitant to eat a f/t.

my main complaint is the seller is NOT responding to any of my attempts at communication, but was VERY prompt in returning emails up to the sale. Apparently the snake hasnt been treated yet, which I have no clue how to do, and hate to fork over the $$$ to do so right now (but its a necessity).

I would walk away no hard feelings not feeling ripped if he would just refund my money and take the snake back. I dont even want to keep it, it's his, take it.

Neal, you can e-mail me ( [email protected] ) your number and I can go over how to treat them if you need to. If you prefer to maintain your privacy you can call me, just let me know. It isn't hard to empirically trat these animals. Most times I let imports go through a few shed cycles and only treat them if they are still not eating. Different people have a different view on this so you can use your judgment.

same guy. i dont even want to keep the snake, i am more than willing to ship it back, i just want a resolution. topshelfexotics has been in contact with them through email during the time i have been apparently being ignored, and i take that as a direct insult and an admittance of guilt.

PLEASE STOP IGNORING ME, we can both walk away with our hands clean still. If you keep ignoring me, i WILL find you, i definately have the means to do so.

I doubt anyone will be interested, but its worth a shot. If someone has the capacity to care for a wild caught snake, I'd be willing to trade straight up, or my snake plus a little cash for a captive bred female of any age.

the more time goes by the less i believe the seller will work this out fairly.

A million years ago....or so.....they may have drifted to hogg island from el salvador as the animals have same scale count and look the same color wise......
who said they had to "originate" in hogg islands millions of years ago?
Why couldnt they originate in el salvador....????
and then like iguanas in the galops, and other islands, floated to other islands??? Its proven scientifically it has occured, and who is to say that hogg islands are really not el salvador boas? different political states for us, meaningless for them.....get it now?

Ball Pythons ARE treated by Zooimp with the following occuring:
De-Ticking, and panacur/flagyl combo once they arrive.
Sorry they do not follow the rules of other importers.
As far as , "Just In!", where is the lie in that, they are just in , meaning recently available. Where is the LIE about that? Sure he may have stated, We just got these in....., which to me is the same as just made available, etc.
He never stated they were breeder bps, he said that with a few feeding they could be, as a matter of fact 9 out of the 11 females that were wc were feeding on small rats.
I can attest to this as I was there during feeding day.
Your making a big stink out of nothing but a novice mistake. He is a novice in the business and I apologize for him not knowing every single little thing.
You guys see advertisments everydayon the T.V. or billboards, etc, and they try to make a sales pitch, its part of the sales business. He simply mislabeled an animal that he didnt know all the facts on and he gets trashed. He even mislabeled giant day geckos adults as c.b. becuase he didn't know and assumed since they havent been imported in months till just recently. He corrrected the ad once he found out they were TREATED wc's.


For those not familiar with zooimp, the owner is a treating freak. He'll treat anything, just to treat it. Be it oraly or in the drinking water, he is a freak about that, lol. Those who know him, know what I am talking about. Much more to say here than any other importer , that is for sure.

Please post this as well, as the first pm to you was exactly for that purpose since I could not post.

Get your facts straight before posting about something you have no idea about or have first hand knowledge of. Mistakes are mistakes and we all fall for them one way or another.......but simple, innocent mistakes should not be reprimanded as much as on purpose mistakes.

This will be the last message I post on your behalf, if you want to post on the BOI try contributing like the rest of us. The only person I see twisting facts around is this individual, why? I do not know. Perhaps they are friends? Lovers? Who knows...

I do know this, In regards to reatments, I was specifically talking about the ad for the white lip python, the one that was already confirmed as untreated, yet he was avertising publicly as treated. But hey, what do I know.........

All I know is this....... Since this thread has started I have recieved unsolicited emails and messages from miamireps and msherps. Possibly the same individual? who knows..... check the IP's perhaps. Msherps even admitted to being wrong in thier email which I copied here, but then all of a sudden wonderboy here starts sending everyone messages and twisting obvious facts. Seems like he's in love with an image of something that does not exist. Get over it son, he screwed up. Not to mention he even has past customers coming here griping now....... whats your excuse for that?

Second thought, dont bother, I do not want anymore messages from you. Pay the ten bucks and come here and type it out your damn self........

Of course you are....... Its what you call last resort motivation. Its public knowledge now that he was avoiding you, and with the negative publicity he is forced to do whatever is necessary to correct said issue. If it were not for this thread, you would have never of heard from him. He could easily take the time to address a public matter through emails, but since your inquiries and gripes until now were private, you were expendable.

I absolutely HATE people like this. I'm all for helping out people strating in this business, and I have no problem with brokers who actually CARE about the animals they are providing, but this is ridiculous. The lies and misinformation are just too much.... But I never said it was not too late to trun things around. Good can come from this, perhaps he'll see the error of his ways and own up to his own doings. He already began to take responsibility and seems to show a genuine interest in his peers opinions. Then some joker comes here making things worse for him, thru private messages no less. If he knows this individual, i think its safe to say he had better tighten the leash or he'll certainly seal and share the same fate. 'fin

I commend you for sticking up for your friend, but unfortunately you need to learn where to draw the line. Not to mention that you are now lowering yourself to a level that no longer reflects profesionalism, only immaturity, stupidty, and ignorance.

It will be YOUR reputation that suffers, and unfortunately his will go right down with yours. I certainly would not want someone like you in my corner. His situation was quite simple, miscommunication, noncommunication, misrepresentation.... Things that could be corrected, and from the email I recieved he seemed to show genuine interest and care.

Rather than HELP your friend by perhaps pointing out these mistakes he could possibly correct or avoid in the future you are twisting facts in order to prove innocence when it is not needed.

I'm not calling him a bad guy, and considering the photos he used to represent animals were not stolen I have no reason to call him a thief either. I retract my previous statement if he indeed requested permission to use said photos. But guess what? I did not ask you. I was asking HIM. In fact, I do not see anywhere where anyone asked for your opinion or input. You're fighting someone ELSES battle and effectively making it worse. Thankfully I am not him, I'd hate to have someone like you in my corner making me look worse!

I do however stick by my statmenets regarding the misinformation he has relayed in his ads. Want to help your friend? Shut your mouth and allow him to fix the situation you have made worse. stated specific animals were treated when in fact they were not (confirmed by telephone directly to zooimp.)

lied in ads stating specimens were in his posession when they were not




Now, do not think for a second I have a problem with him brokering, thats his choice and tons of people do it. When you LIE about it though thats a different story.....

The other issues speak for themselves, and mitch has already stated he was wrong and shown genuine interest in possibly correcting these issues...

I got a email from MSHERPS saying he wants to talk to me on the phone about this. However, I was busy tonight and couldnt do that. I did get a call from someone named Omar (the person I paid for the snakes) so I'm assuming he is a partner with MSHERPS and got the number from the Mitch guy, because Mitch is the only person I gave the number to. Its a shame this had to turn into a bigger deal than it is...*sigh* I just wanted to be satisfied with my purchase, thats all.
