    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Mr. Hall,
I understand that you are new on this site so I would suggest that you familiarize yourself with the history of this person on the BOI prior to passing judgment on the members who are voicing their disdain.
In the thread at the following link Mr. Ignacio & a Mr. Davis & wife, who hopefully has distanced himself from Mr. Ignacio, made criminal claims of being a 501c3 Reptile Rescue to get free snakes to sell and collect, made criminal claims of being a 501c3 Reptile Rescue to get donations to help them care for their reptiles, etc. Mr. Ignatio also made claims of being a member of the American Bar Association and other things in an attempt to intimidate members of this site and to promote his lies. They even attempted to steal the ID of an existent legitimate Reptile Rescue while under the scrutiny of Fauna members.

An easy synopsis of that thread would be that they were attempting to scam the public which in turn would give the Herpetology and Herpetoculturist community a black eye we do not need.
In general I believe you will find that the majority of the members of this site stand up for honesty and ethical behavior. Though some of us may at times be slightly more than blunt in our attacks on dishonesty, immoral and unethical behavior, the vast majority of us are seeking the same goal, to improve the reptile community through keeping a vigilant eye out for people who would bring dishonor on our hobby/business.
In this particular thread Mr. Ignatio violated the sites TOS by creating fake identities and attempted to bypass the fine and suspension he justly earned in that previous thread.
He is not being picked on, he is being called to task for his own misdeeds.
 
i really dont post here much but i though i would say something for this one.. muffdaddy calls himself a legend in the reptile hobby. hes sent me more then a few emails about a video i posted of his on venomousreptiles.org of him and his friend mike taking turns pinning a copperhead which they pinned so hard they pushed the fangs through the bottom jaw and you could see the blood on the table.

hes very cocky for someone whos kept snakes less then 2 years. here is an email he sent me just so some people can get an idea of what hes like.

In all likelyhood they are trying to get some good feedback for themselves here. Would make sense, I believe they didn't realize how long a memory the BOI has. Also, I believe Nick has famous confused with infamous for I have been at shows and there is a collective groan from REAL breeders and vendors when he hits the door. The only vendor I saw that spoke to Nick was a venomous vendor who was stupid enough to OPEN the container a viper of some sort was in so Nick could get a pic. Also as I understand it Nick will be turned away at the door when he arrives at at least one of the shows in the region.
 
I was aware of MuffDaddy to the extent that I had stumbled across a couple of his early You Tube videos some time ago. They were similar in content to many reptile videos being made by teenagers at that time and were not remarkable in any way. After seeing this thread and then looking at his later videos I can say with confidence that there is nothing that anyone could say about him here that could discredit him any more than the videos that he is now making do.
 
I don't know how Nick Ignacio can honestly believe that he's famous in the herping community. Yeah, he gets a lot of comments on youtube, but if you have spent any time on youtube, you know how immature and downright pathetic the comments are. You'd be hardpressed to find a group of more bigoted, homophobic and downright stupid people.

When I think of famous people in the industry I think of people like Bob Clark, de Vosjoli, the Barkers, and Kevin at NERD. They all have had a profound impact on the industry, and without them we would not have the interest and access to captive bred reptiles. What has this guy done other then spread incorrect information and post a number of amateur videos? To gain any amount of respect in this hobby/industry it takes years of hard work breeding and keeping these animals. Nick Ignacio is living in a dream world and has absolutely no grasp on reality.
 
If you haven't seen them already, check out some of the videos posted of kids spoofing him.

Adam, are you serious? That would be awesome. Kelly Kordek told me that he would not be allowed into the Central PA Show that she promotes IF he ever showed up, but if he was blacklisted elsewhere, it would be more nails in the coffin. I dread the day I run into him at a show, but so far, its been incident-free.
 
The New England expo is 10/4. I don't see him traveling this far but I will keep my eyes peeled anyhow...

And he will continue to get banned from the SHHS. I am also a member there as I too keep 'hots'.

What is post will end up getting someone killed one day. And it may be himself. I have watched only 2 of his vids... and the whole time.. Im thinking... yep... he's fixin to get bit.

There is an upside to his vids though.

They show how NOT to handle hots. :)
 
Nick is the biggest joke.
If you try to correct him he sends his legion of 12 year olds after you.

He had a litter of baby boas and called me on the phone since I had stupidly given him my home phone # at the beginning.

He actually cut all the umbilical cords on his premature litter, separating the babies from there yolk. He then placed them on dry paper and hoped for the best. He also sold ones with swollen eyes from defects and told kids this boa was special and called it popeye.

Too bad there are pepople like him handing out false information to people that do not know any better.
 
This guy is the worst example of what a reptile keeper/breeder should be.
As betterboas explained, he is only a reptile "guru" in the eyes of his 12 year old army.

But, as funny as that sounds, that is a horrible thing. He is essentially training his legion of 12 year olds to be as bad as a keeper as him. He is bad press, and I hope people exclude this man from any/all reptile expos.

Do not buy from this irresponsible owner... he is bound to get tagged by one of his hots one day due to stupidity anyways.
