    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

What type do you use if you use it. And where's a good place to get it from. What's the pros and cons I'm on paper now but you can't spot clean paper it's all or none. What's ur cleaning process with mulch as well? Thanks

Mulch is nice in some ways, awful in others.
Pros: spot cleaning, improved humidity, odor concealment
Cons: spot cleaning, messy, odor concentration, health risks

Spot cleaning goes in both because it's pretty hard to spot clean anything other than solid waste.
Odor appears in both categories, and in apparently conflicting descriptions, because odors are concealed initially...but, since one is less aware of liquid waste, it's pretty easy to open the tub to find an overpowering ammonia smell. This can be avoided by regularly changing portions of the mulch (which kind of kills the idea of spot cleaning).
Health risks - mainly from increased humidity, too moist conditions, and inadequate cleaning/disinfection.

Mulch is good stuff...but I find it more labor intensive.

Thanks. I think that helps me make up my mind and I will be sticking with paper. The paper is great and we have a cnc water jet machine that I have designed cad files to cut out perfectly to fit in the tubs which is nice. I just wish it would absorb better.

Have any place i can buy good absorbent liner on a roll in bulk

That's a matter of choice, and I use different products (bogus paper, Kraft, and indented Kraft) for different animals.
I prefer bogus paper for ball python sized animals - it's available in different thicknesses (weights), and absorbs more quickly than indented Kraft.
