Days of having huge collections for alot of us are or already have wound down. Ive been putting time into Florida kings for several reasons but the most obvious are all the different morphs. More combos, stacking, are still being done. Plenty of WORLDS FIRSTS left with the number of morphs. Better still is that you can produce LOTS of different morphs from just a single pair of snakes. Ive been hatching snake eggs a long time, but I still get a rush from these "skittles" clutches like a little kid! Today I hatched a 7 egg clutch and got literally 7 different morphs and not a single normal one in the bunch. What does this mean? If you want to be a breeder multi hets give you the most bang for your buck. There are 16 different phenotypes(morphs) when you breed 4 gene hets. If you already are a breeder you know that to downsize to a few multi hets you dont have to feed 32 snakes(16pr)to produce the same options. Whats not lost is the outward appearance of your breeders, they look like real deal Florida kings as normals so there can be something for everybody. Text for more info, Jeff 6one7733one6one2
