    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I tried to feed my girl a smaller sized frozen thawed fuzzy mouse last night when I got home in a deli cup but she wast up for it. Hopefully though in a couple days she will be ready! How did you feed yours? Inside her cage or deli cup? Pinky or other?

I feed her in her enclosure. I gave her two days in her new environment to hang out. No handling her once I put her in there. Then i offered her warm f/t food and had no trouble. With mussuranas being so shy, you really have to eliminate as much stress as possible. Once they are comfortable they are eating machines. What type of enclosure is yours in? Photos?

I am gonna do the same and give her some chill time in her new place first. She defecated again last night so she should be ready for a bite here anytime I think. She has gone 2 times since I got her now so I think she is close to being cleaned out ha! Her enclosure is a sterilite 18 quart tub. I had a bigger one ready but decided to go grab a smaller one so she wouldn't be overwhelmed with space while acclimating. I'll move her up as she grows. I really like how tubs keep in the humidity better than my custom caging and have found all of my snakes to be better off since moving them to the tubs. I sure am liking the cleanup being so much easier now too haha! John also has his in tubs and said they work out great! So for now I'm gonna stick with that unless an issue arises in anyway.

Sheeesh!!! Thats awesome man!!! I sure hope you are right!!! Think I will wait till tomorrow and try. Tonight might be too soon yet since I just got her set up late in the day on Saturday

Great news!! She ate a small f/t fuzzy mouse last night for me :) I tried feeding her in a small box but she didn't do anything in there so I put her away and went out for a bit. I left the fuzzy in the cage with her and when I got back it was gone and she was in her hide with a smile on her face and a bulge in her belly. I am a happy happy father today :D:D:D

Update. She took a hopper mouse from me last night. It was a leftover from the taiwan beauty. I put it in there out of curiosity. Yup, she can handle it. lol. Looks like she swallowed an orange. At least it will keep her busy for three days. Sidenote for you if you don't have that much experience with large colubrids, they can and will eat several times a week if you let them. Any updated photos?

Daaaang!! Thats awesome!!! I havent gotten my girl to eat again yet (tried last night) but I woke up this morning to find that she defecated some more so will try again tonight and see if that's her sign to tell me she is ready for more :)
