    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

He's close to 5' long. Very tame, has never bitten me in the year I've had him.
First pic is most recent. Second is about two months ago. Last pic is about six months ago.

He is a nice looking little guy. I always love to see rocks. Someday I hope the herp world wakes up and gets rid of balls for rocks! I know that will never happen(rocks are scary lol). Dan M.

thanks Dan. Rocks, well....Rock! lol I was thinking of pairing him up, but I'm going to wait on that. I want to get him to adult size, and if I have the time/space in the future, I will get a fem. I love these snakes, your right, people need to just wake up about Afrocks and realize they are not as aggressive as they think. Sure they are nippy babies, but so are most snakes. They are very active and attractive snakes. Balls are boring lol

Rocks are cool. I used to have a few myself, years ago. But they can NEVER take the place of balls. When you have like 100 different colors and patterns to choose from with balls, and rocks have what, normals and hypos? It's a pretty hard race to win.

Ryan, sure, Balls have all the fancy, pretty color morphs and patterns, but normal to normal a Rock wins in my eyes. And one thing a Ball doesn't have, nor ever will no matter what kind of breeding is done, is a true personality. Balls are very boring compared to a Rock.
