    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I just picked up my birthday gift. It is a (new to me) dell inspiron 5000e. It has a 750mhz processor, 256 ram, 30 gig hard drive, uxga 15" monitor. They also gave me a extreamly nice carring case, a 56k modem card and a dsl card. I am so excited! It is my first notebook and I am loving it :) It is very fast. The only thing I would like to change is put a cdrw/dvd combo in it (right now it has a cd rom and a 3.5 floppy (which I said I had to have as I cant give up my floppies yet ;) ). The outside is in perfect shape. I am so so excited. Sorry for boring everyone but I just had to tell someone. ::)
 
That sounds excellent! Let us know how you like it. I've been eyeing a notebook for quite some time but am still trying to figure out which would be best when I can afford one. There seem to be advantages to them that are worth more than one glance!

Don't stay up all night with it...your eyes will hate you tomorrow!:)
