I relayed my experience, ALL True, for the next guy/gal to decide for themselves whether they want to deal with (at best) a big headache with returning incorrect orders, that are late and half thawed garbage...

Evidently there must be something to it if so many sqeakers start in.

I will report back on my next shipment, hopefully I pick a more responsible place to buy rats from.

No, you had two minor problems that would have been instantly resolved with a phone call. A course of action any mature adult would have taken.

I order on average $12,000 of rodents from Rodentpro a year. I have had the occasional delivery problem and a couple of minor size issues with the product. All issues were resolved cheerfully by Rodentpro with a phone call, Nothing was ever required to be returned. I am still a faithful customer after dozens of orders and will remain so.

The problem Alan is that your attitude and demeanor both suck. I have the feeling that you have been added to a number of "Do not deal with" lists after your petty tirade here. Deservedly so.

That certainly would be true if he was using his correct name but I doubt he is. I couldn't find a listing in CT or in the US, and Google doesn't come up with any matches for the last name.

Really Mark? Do you really need that answered for you? I apologize if I missed a rhetorical statement here but here goes..... Why lie? Why put a false location down? What point does it serve? If it's that easy to mislead people then what can you expect when the issue at hand really matters? If you mislead about the small stuff then you'll do even worse with the big. I reckon you can call it a "character thing."

Griz, I somewhat understand what you are saying but I think it is being made to much of a deal about. I mean Jim's says he is in your mind under his I guess I don't put a lot of belief in the porfiles. When asked about I didn't get the impression he was was trying to hide where he was from, he just thought it would be "cute" to have Rome Italy. I think he jumped the gun on this and I think he is probably someone I would avoid but definately not because of what he has on his profile line. I think if he was actually trying to convince people he was from Rome I would understand the hoopla. Is it lying that under location Jim has in your mind? Is that his real location? Anyway carry on I was just wondering and not really wanting to argue about it.

Well, to be honest, how well he is respected anywhere shouldn't matter.
What matters to me is that by his own admission, he did not give the vendor an opportunity to fix the issue.

Every vendor makes mistakes. What really matters is how they handle them. This thread says nothing about that.

You said you ordered these from RP a couple of months ago and could not use them. They were all bad. But you are going to let us know how your next order goes in a month. Sure seems like a long time with no rats.

Jeez everyone messes up and order now and then as is often said here-- it's how someone deals with a problem that shows who they are.. Randy and Mark, it's called a pattern. I could care less where he's from. The fact of the matter is, this did not belong on the BOI. This individual is shady at best and not just due to this thread. Take a look at some of his posts elsewhere and that will give you a clue as to what you're dealing with.

When someone wants to label a respected vendor as a bad guy, and without a shred of any credible evidence, don't you think that deserves more attention? I can only give you the information I have found but I can't make you drink from it. Yes, his past does matter. It goes to credibility of which, he has none.

So, to answer the question, no it's not about his location, it's about his pattern.

Seems thats what he does Jim. I'm sure if RP were to read this thread they would be very surprised they were given a 2nd chance since they didn't even know there was a problem with the first chance. They may even ask why he " sidestepped " a simple phone call to fix a problem RP had no knowledge of and will only find out about by reading this post.

I give the OP a 2 thumbs down and will have to put that name on my avoid " list. I'd hate to be the target of a BOI thread myself without knowing if there was a problem. Wonder how he'd feel if the role were to be reversed and the thread was about him and he didn't know there was a problem.

New people pay attention...

I gave a rundown of two experiences I had with RodentPro.

The first one I was given the wrong size XXlarge when I ordered large. It just so happens the large were on the "fire sale" and I truthfully believe I was given whatever just cause they didnt have anymore large. I couldnt use XXlarge, kept them for awhile then threw them out.

I decided to give Rodent Pro a second chance awhile later and I oredered more rats, being careful NOT to order from the fire sale. This time my order was late, it was packedd with NO dry ice and many of the rats had thawed and I desposed of these in the trash also.

These are the facts. I have every right to put them out there for unknowing potential customers to read and evaluate for themselves whether I am telling the truth or not. I was up front about the fact that I didnt bother to call, I feel I shouldnt have to micro-manage my order - I GO ELSEWHERE PERIOD. First time shame on them, next time shame on me - there will be NO third time.

What you have here are a bunch of insiders, that are all buddy with each other from shows etc.., know each others first names and attack anyone who dares to speak out.

They are the ones with the secret lists and the conspiracies...

I ask you that if they will shout me down for speaking out for myself, or anyone else who even hinted at taking my side, what does that tell you about them?

If they collude about this, I ask you what recourse do you think YOU would have if you bought a het or something else from one of them and it turned out to be a rip off? THey would call you the liar too, and then back each other up....

Think about it.

I think its funny you have these wanna-be Ball Tycoons on here, all bent out of shape cause they paid 3k for the Spider, 2k for the Yellow belly, the Mojave...and now they are freaking out...and lashing out at anyone who is not in lock-step with them

I explained my negative experience with Rodent Pro, I even produced one of the invoices when I was repeatedly called a liar. It ( relating my two out of two bad experiences w/ Rodent Pro) was just a small vent that had sat under my skin for the last few months and I wanted to unload the bad vibe. Now I am going to repost the story every time I am attacked for speaking my mind.
