    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

My Experience with SPJ / Steve Jordanides

I have a room at my brothers house where I quarantine animals for three months after they arrive.
After three months they are brought to my house and kept in a bedroom. They remain in that room for three more months.
After six months of arriving they are put into the building with my main collection.

I clean, and feed my main collection, then my 3-6 month Q-room, and then my 1-3 month Q-room.
I use purified water for my snakes, tegu, and rodents.

I don't care if you beleive me or not Jas. I do it all because I care about the animals, and have a lot invested in them, not so that anybody will have confidence in my animals. Again, I am a hobbyist.
 
Stepping around the... questionable... timing in the creation of this thread-

You had an issue, you brought it to the dealer, he offered *something* as a means of correcting the issue that had been raised. You declined his offer, as is your perogative.

Did you communicate with him *at the time* any alternative which you may have found more agreeable or did you simply decline and cease communication?

How many snakes did you photograph on that piece of driftwood, and how did you disinfect in between? Hopefully SPJ's snakes didn't give mites to snakes you got from "more reputable" sellers.

I had a feeling you were shady after you came at me w/ guns blazing in defense of Tony Copertino (how many fake hets did he sell?). I think you just confirmed my suspicions with your retaliatory negative post against SPJ.

Since the photos in the thread about the blockage aren't linked anymore, I will post them here. I will also post photos of the snake eating afterwards.
I keep photos forever. Looks like I know have to hold onto emails and PM's forever as well since some people change their stories to make others look bad.

This is what the belly looked like with the blockage.
It was not a cloaca problem like Rob is now claiming. Not anywhere near the cloaca.

I never intended to post this info, and do not need a vet report that say's that an animal had a "tumor" removed, or was treated with panacur as a precaution. Steve has said that the report mentioned the "tumor," and has not denied the fact that although it did say the animal was treated with panacur as a precaution, it did not mention any fecal testing whatsoever. He should either have a copy or would be able to get one faxed from his vet to post if I were lying.

Steves snakes no longer have mites. None of my animals do. I took those pics in the same order that I clean and feed in. The driftwood was soaked in a 10 gallon washtub of 10% bleach to water after the photo's were taken. The mirror was washed with the same mixture of 10% bleach to water in a windex bottle in between photo's.

I did not defend Tony other than to say that he did in fact Quarantine your animals from his own. I, like many others thought you were premature with the bad guy thread at that time. It wasn't until Joe Compell posted the pics of his animals that Tony had lifted that your thread had any merrit. I am glad it worked out for you though. I have no idea how many false hets he sold, ask Tom C. This thread is not retalitory, it is long overdue and directly due to Steve's lousy customer service, poor attitude, shady advertising and withholding of important info., and the fact that he is a hypocrite.

I have receifved an adult male Boa from Steve. I have also known steve for years on these forums. He is honest and very upfront. The "phantom" was a big thing when Steve got it. I remember when he posted pics of it and was excited to prove it out.

Steve is a great person. I could not ever see him giving an unhealthy animal. He cares to much about them.........

The fecal was free and all I got was a call that all was clear. They did an enema at the office and tested that. I think the enema is in the report. I will try to get her to give me some documentation. Do you want me to try and get a copy of the x-ray they did as well?

Yes it is. I ensure that everyone goes smoothly with any transaction I have. Poor attitude? Yes I will admit that since you completely blindsided me with these accusations today and make this post on the BOI. Of course I will have a poor attitude. There was never and will never be shady advertising. I disclose everything and if a snake is not healthy, it would never be sold. If a snake is CB by me, I let that be known. If it is a CH animal, I also state that. If it was CB by someone else, I will disclose who produced it.
I do not withhold information and I am not a hypocrite. Don't even insinuate that I am like some of the scumbag sellers that are out there.

I was excited but then the roof went and the insurance wouldn't cover it.
I ended up having to sell the lesser, Lucky, an adult pastel and a beautiful sub-adult spider BP to cover the repair costs.
I wish now that Lucky stayed here. Rob does not deserve that great snake. He needs to be with someone who appreciates him.

Yeah... I hate it when I just trip while walking by the computer and hit the keyboard with my face, posting a garbage bad guy thread about someone who doesn't deserve it. It's made even worse when it just happens to occur the very same day that the person named disagreed with me about a completely unrelated matter.

Call me what you will. I could care less if half of you put me on your do not sell to list. Everything I posted in this thread is true.
As far as the tumor not being in the cloaca area, I am certain the vet report stated that it was.
Steve said that the offer of $100 minus shipping to send back the "Phantom" was the best, and only thing that he would do. I let him know that was not acceptable to me, and that I was unsatisfied with his customer service.
I have picked up a 1. Pastel Lesser and will be pairing him with the .1 Lesser to produce my Blue Eyed Lucy.
Thanks for the sweet .1 Lesser, and the dinker toy Steve.
 
I purchased snakes from Steve in the past and would not hesitate to do so again
Steve is a good guy
 
Like I said before, if you do not want Lucky ship him back to me.
I will even go as high as $200 and cover the shipping since I would rather he be here with me than with someone who thinks he is a "toy".
