I never intended to post this info, and do not need a vet report that say's that an animal had a "tumor" removed, or was treated with panacur as a precaution. Steve has said that the report mentioned the "tumor," and has not denied the fact that although it did say the animal was treated with panacur as a precaution, it did not mention any fecal testing whatsoever. He should either have a copy or would be able to get one faxed from his vet to post if I were lying.

Steves snakes no longer have mites. None of my animals do. I took those pics in the same order that I clean and feed in. The driftwood was soaked in a 10 gallon washtub of 10% bleach to water after the photo's were taken. The mirror was washed with the same mixture of 10% bleach to water in a windex bottle in between photo's.

I did not defend Tony other than to say that he did in fact Quarantine your animals from his own. I, like many others thought you were premature with the bad guy thread at that time. It wasn't until Joe Compell posted the pics of his animals that Tony had lifted that your thread had any merrit. I am glad it worked out for you though. I have no idea how many false hets he sold, ask Tom C. This thread is not retalitory, it is long overdue and directly due to Steve's lousy customer service, poor attitude, shady advertising and withholding of important info., and the fact that he is a hypocrite.

I am not interested in purchasing from you anyway Mike. You made my no purchase list a long time ago.

That does not take away from anything that I posted.
The term "dinker toy" is a pun derived from a combonation of "tinker toy" and "dinker project."
I purchased the pair because I want a Blue Eyed Lucy in my collection and could not afford to spend $3k for one. I am a hobbyist and do appreciate, and care about the animals I keep. Danny has a home, is 600g+ today, and will be paired with a normal female this year to see if he can breed, and if so, then to see if he is in fact a genetic Phantom.
That $200 shipped is a better offer then the $100- shipping last year though. Too bad it took a BOI thread and a years supply of rats, care, and time for you to make it.

As far as the price, why not? I sold him to you for an incredible price even after the hundreds of dollars I put into his care.

If you like him that is great and what I was hoping for when you got him. If not, I will buy him back. I always try to buy back animals I sold if someone doesn't want them anymore.

I thought the toy remark was a dig at him. Your explanation cleared that up.

This thread was never about getting a resolution from Steve.. He doesn't owe you squat. This was about trying to get back at him. Everyone can see that. Your just trying to be a good little minion so the puppet master might throw you a scrap or two. Really pathetic..

Guess what? Lucky and the lesser you got from me are posted. Now on 7/31/08, all of a sudden you are not happy with them (especially Lucky) but will not let me give you money to buy him back to try and make you happy about the deal.
I still say there was an alterior motive to what transpired today.

Some questioned whether my thread was premature, while others praised it as an example of how the BOI should work, considering it started as a non-accusatory inquiry. I asked some questions about some things that didn't seem right, and you jumped on me because his pied was on breeding loan. You are a mouth piece for those with tarnished reputations to flat out scammers.

I just found and read this thread. I haven't been spending a lot of time on this site lately as I had become discouraged watching the Ball Python Classifieds section gradually turning into a rogue's gallery. Obviously Steve has the clique that is responsible for the deteriorating atmosphere out to do a hatchet job on him. It's good that this group lacks finesse. They won't be able to fool very many people at all with their shenanigans.

I am no-body's minion Seamus. Like I said, I have told Steve several times over the last year that I was not satisfied with our transaction. He continually told me that I was full of crap, and knew all about the history of this animal from chat. I never knew about the tumor until several weeks after I had the animals, when I read it in the vet reports Steve sent that were supposed to have clean fecal test results.

I have contacted him every time I see him post negative about another seller, not just the ones that I have dealt with. Steve did make a post directly towards me, insinuating that I knew an awful lot about Joe C's business, after I had explained in the thread already that Clark and I are friends, and that I had discussed the transaction that was posted about earlier that morning with him. What was that insinuating?

I just wasn't going to let him continue to call other breeders Scumbags for less shady transactions, after the way he handled my transaction, and personally attacked me without posting the thread I posted.

It has not been about money for a while. I would have been happy if Steve would have said something like, "Hey man, I am sorry that I never mentioned the tumor. I will give you a $300 credit or refund, and guarantee that he can breed or I will give you an 09' 1. Lesser to make good on the Lucy Package that I advertised. I can't explain the mites as my other animals don't have them ." BTW Steve, I am the one that said no big deal about the mites, and I absolutely did call you and your phone # is still programmed into my cellphone phonebook. Don't worry, I am going to delete it now.

Instead, he continues to call me a liar and say that I knew the snakes history from the forums, and chat. I never knew about the tumor prior to reading the vet report which stated that a tumor was removed from the cloaca.

Like I have said repeatedly, I was aware(from chat) that "Lucky" was not from a proven line, but took Steve's word when he assured me that he is positive it is a new bloodline of CH Genetic Phantom, and would produce a Lucy if I bred it to the .1 Lesser.

I knew that I was going to take heat for posting this thread. I don't care. Steve is a well liked guy in every reptile forum. Heck, he was a pleasure to deal with until I had a complaint.

Have any saved communications between the two of you about it? His initial offer in his own words, your rejection in your own words, your... request for something more and something specific perhaps and his rejection of your request?

Characterization and the specifics in the communication matter a lot in a situation like this. There's a world of difference between

"Hey I noticed this thing I am not happy with."
"I'll help solve it by offering XXX."
"Nah."

and

"Hey I noticed this thing I am not happy with."
"I'll help solve it by offering XXX."
"That sounds unreasonable, I judge the value differently and would request YYY."
