    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Two females i have are the same size are fighting.One attacked the other and the other ran.I seperated them for now but is this normal or whats goin on?

let me know what you think about this.
 
Sometimes female leos just do not like each other, and some are best kept seperate from other females.
 
If they are actually figghting you have to seperate them. One or both will get hurt. If they are giving each other a warning snap and your cage is big enough with enough hides, they may learn to live with each other. But even then you still need to be watchful.

soooooooo....here's my 2 cents

I was just going to agree that when Leos are kept together-whether it be one on one for breeding-a group of females or in a harem-that constant observation and monitoring has to be done because there are just too many dominance issues with these guys
As was already stated-some females NEVER get along and even with multiple hides in a large enclosure they will still have territory/feeding issues

I think that the best thing to do with Leos is to always have an extra tank/tub available for such circumstances and ALWAYS QUARANTINE any new arrivals before introducing them to your established animals

Even if they are relatively parasite free you are still putting an animal already stressed from shipping or just from the move from the store to your home into a brand new environment and when there are other Leos there-that Leo will be "low man on the totem pole" so to speak and chances are that stress can bring out elevated coccidia levels

Also dominance does not have to appear as outright aggression-and many Leos just get too stressed to eat when kept with others
Of course there is always the exception to the rule and some Leos do well with others of either sex but generally I have found that most Leos do much better when kept alone
