When I first checked this hatchling, I sexed it as a female. Thankfully, I always double and triple check "females", as the second time I looked, "she" turned out to be a "he". I may still keep him, although a female would have been better. He has a 50% chance of being het for caramel and/or motley.
I'll be having more hypos to choose from as the eggs from one pair of hypo het lavs have just started to pip. Out of 11, I have at least one hypolav. There are still 4 eggs that haven't pipped yet, so hopefully there will be at least one more.
