    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm so excited! I've always wanted to have a snake. The other day I was walking around in my yard and this little garter slithers right infront of me. So I picked it up and took it home. I actually wasn't sure what type of snake it was at first. But IDing was pretty easy with google. Then did some research, and payed the petshop a visit for supplies.

Right now I have the little guy/girl in a 20 x 10 x 12 tank with uth pad, large bowl of water, aspen bedding, and some tubes as hides. It already ate a couple of earthworms that I dug up. How many and how often should I feed? They're kinda skinny earthworms, so I dont think they'll be very filling. Maybe if I get a pot of dirt and try to breed earthworms?!? <--crazy idea!

He/She is SO adorable. It's about 2 feet long. It loves to cuddle up in my sleeve or pocket and would stay there for ages. In fact I have it in my sleeve right now as I'm typing. So far it hasn't musked or tried to bite me at all, even when I first caught it. Beginner's luck? :hehe:

I'll post some pictures up tomorrow when I get a chance.

Another you can feed to make feeding easier is minnows. Just buy some from the petstore put them in a bowl filled with water about 2 inches and walla a 2 in 1 a feeder dish and waterbowl lol.

dont use goldfish though, they can lead to a deficiency in thiamine I think. To solve this problem, I find a liquid bird vitamin and put a drop of it in a small water bowl with the goldfish. Good luck, and be ready for the addiction! :hehe:
