    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

actually, a reptile shop here in az, didnt know what it was, and sold it too me for dirt cheap, 50 bucks. she is so awsome. i know what she was lookin at her, but i am in the process of finding out more about any different morphs out there of these guys. and in a couple years hope to breed her to a nice male. not a whole lot of these being bred

I got my male the same way :) The pet store was actually afraid of him! Mine is not a hypo and has an almost black body towards the midsection to this tail. But I kinda like it that way on him! He is one crazy boy when it's dinner time, that is for sure!!

Okay two more :D Just to show that they can be sweet if they get enough TLC haha!

sorry no, that was aimed at the OP.

I will admit i've only met one hypo FWC in the flesh, and we all know snakes can look very different in person.

I do remember the hypo I met being stikingly birght though.

No worries :)

I have not seen any hypo's in person myself, but I do love these snakes! Mine is pounding 2 medium rats every meal now. Friggin pig boy!

well, after i got her, i was able to track down the guy that brought her in (for trade for feeders) to the reptile shop i picked her up at. when i finally found him, asked him the genetics on the fwc, and he told me that the parents were a super hypo (male) x normal (female). so naturally i assumed that the genetics of that worked the same as in other snakes, such as retics, where if you breed a supertiger to a normal you get all tigers. and the hypo gene to my knowledge (even in fwc's) work the same being a co-dom gene. anyway, all he did was show me pics of the parents and offspring, didnt actually show pics of the courting or anything. i doubt i will beed these things (though i may try it, maybe to prove her out someday), so i mainly have her as a pet at this tie

she is one of my most favorite snakes i have, she is awsome, and no kiddin, that feeding response is unmatched in my opinio

I am the same with my guy :) He may not be the purtiest one around....but he is my boy and he makes me happy everytime I come home from work and I see him watchin me like he is wanting to be apart of whatever I got going on haha!

mine doesnt come out all that often. she stays burrowed in her moss substrate like 95% of the time. i have to dig her out with her little hook to get her out to hold her and alot of times when its feeding time. she is becoming pretty nasty in her cage, getting her out, but again, once she is out, she is the most chill, laidback snake.
