Just put a couple of these into use. I have a third that still needs the door.

Very nice! What kind of stain did you use or what did you put over it to water proof it?

The stain was Minwax Red Oak, with two coats of semi-gloss polyurethane.
The cages were cured outside for a couple of weeks before actually having the snakes in them.
